We talked about what exactly what I wanted, what was available and what the prices for the various vehicles would be. She was always pleasant to talk to and treated me with respect. Doing the paperwork to purchase the car was fairly quick and easy, and she got me the exact car I wanted, by way of a dealership trade, within about 24 hours of my initial email. Could not care less This Honda dealership recently changed hands; it was formerly Fladeboe Honda. Same players, different name. Under the Fladeboe flag, I had taken my This Honda dealership recently changed hands; it was formerly Fladeboe Honda. Same players, different name. Under the Fladeboe flag, I had taken my Honda Civic under warranty to repair a cold start vibration, three separate trips, 6 days without my car, no resolution. Finally out of frustration, I took the car to an independent Honda/Acura specialist; the problem was diagnosed on the spot and repaired out of pocket ($430). The service representative could not believe that the dealer failed to fix my car after three trips and he suggested that I call Honda USA to get reimbursement. I did, and after a lot of paperwork and about 6 weeks, I received a $400 Honda debit card only valid for use at a Honda dealer. Now under the Norm Reeves name, a new warranty issue for oxidizing roof paint. Honda USA quoted $528 for the repair (50/50 customer participation), my portion $264. A week later, the car is ready for pick-up. Kurt Roehrs presents me with a bill; for $275. I did not receive any prior notice of the increased charges. When I asked him about the discrepancy, he replied "that's how it came up on my system, it's only a few dollars" and turned his back and walk away. I can't believe the arrogance. I then contacted Norm Reeves Honda management via Email to express my disappointment with the service I had received from the collision center explaining exactly what happened and I included my customer number and invoice number. A couple of days passed and I received an stock Email from Richard Moyer, general manager, offering to sell me a new car...no specific reply to my customer service issue. I sent a second Email. This time, the stock reply was from Brad Mugg...and again a solicitation to buy a new car without any specific reference to my customer service issue. Before you think I'm just a complainer, My first Honda Civic was purchased in 1989 and served me well for 350,000 miles. I take care of my cars and keep them along time. My Mercedes 300 turbodeisel was recently sold with 450,000 miles and running perfectly. My current Mercedes is serviced by Laguna Niguel Mercedes and my Porsche by Newport Porsche. I have never had a repair or customer service issue with either of these dealerships. So, would I recommend Norm Reeves Honda to anyone for either service or sales...NO. Have I shared my experience with Norm reeves Honda…YES to many people. Would I buy another Honda in the future...I strongly doubt it. More
