I was researching car dealersh I just purchased a new 2015 Honda CR-V WHITE 2WD EX from CRAIG MOORE!!! He is just simply one of the best to work with. I was researching car dealerships all across Orange County and got a few price quotes from other branches, but by far CRAIG's price was the most fair, and he was one of the nicest dealers I dealt with. From our first initial contact through e-mail, I told him exactly what I wanted including model, color, and trim, and that I was not going to settle for anything else. He was always quick to respond and answered all my questions over the next 2 weeks of my car hunt. Craig did what it took to get me what I was looking for! He was always so transparent with me and met my timeline on when I was ready to buy. When I got to the dealership, he had the car ready for me & we were in and out of the lot in such a short time. There was no pressure to add things I knew I didn't want and Craig stuck to his promise about what we agreed in our e-mails (price/negotiations/etc). HORRIBLE experience On Saturday, June 20, 2015 I visited Norm Reeves Honda in Irvine with very specific interest on the 2013 Dodge Durango that they had advertised online On Saturday, June 20, 2015 I visited Norm Reeves Honda in Irvine with very specific interest on the 2013 Dodge Durango that they had advertised online. When I arrived I was greeted by my Sales Person Erik Munoz and he was very professional but fairly new, he wanted to show me other vehicles that I wasn’t interested in. After about 33 minutes we finally located the Dodge Durango and were able to see it. Why is it advertised online and not on your lot? The Carfax showed it was in dealer inventory on the 16th. I have newborn baby at home and no time to waste. The condition of the Durango was to my satisfaction with all things considered. My only other variable in this operation was my trade-in. I have a 2010 BMW 3-Series and I had done my research and had two other appraisals. The Manager Fidel, (I can’t find him on your website is that his real name?)offered me $4000 less than my other legitimate best offer. At this point, everything was becoming too difficult and I had to ask myself. Why are all the variables so far from where the market value is? Are they trying to rip my trade and ask me to pay over market value for their Dodge? I mentioned there is a similar Durango for substantially less money within 100 mile radius. When I told them what I was paying for my car they acted like I was lying, well I have a contract that shows otherwise and a monthly bill to confirm it. I told them my goal was to pay the same and then they really threw their hands in the air like that was just impossible. I was treated very rudely and dismissed like a nobody. His suggestion was for me to look for a car in a much lower price bracket and basically waved off. Was I at McDonalds? I’m talking about spending $30,000 dollars and that is what your response is? Purchasing a vehicle has many variables and you didn’t even want to work with me? Mr. Richard Moyer, Mr. Gary Hensley, Mr. Bradd Mugg, is this the experience you hope all of your clients receive? I don’t think so, so why did I get the attitude, the rudeness, the waving off? I’m a very reasonable person that understands this process much more than I might appear and If I don’t I can ask experts that I know in this field. I want to make sure anyone that reads this is aware of the experience I had and to avoid this auto group at all costs. Unless you pay their full asking price and don’t ask any important questions, they will give you a normal treatment. If you happen to know anything about an automobile transaction and perhaps they didn’t think you knew anything, put your guard up and be ready for the attitude. More
