One of dealer contacted me is little bit far away form, the second emailed me information of wrong model and the third offered very high price with fewer choice. So I post my email and phone on Norm Reeves Honda Irvine's website. Safi from Norm Reeves Honda Irvine contacted me shortly and offered a reasonable price plus more choice of color. I don't like to bargain for every penny, what I am looking for is a reasonable price and the car I like so we decide to visit Norm Reeves Honda Irvine first. The second day we went to Norm Reeves Honda Irvine. Safi was very helpful and friendly. I did research of the car before I went to Norm Reeves Honda Irvine but there are still a lot of new information introduced by Safi. The whole process was smooth and no hidden cost. We were totally satisfied and happily left with a brand new 2019 Honda CR-V. More

In the end, I got a car (red Accord EX hybrid with ivory interior) that I expect I will love as much as my 2004 Accord EX - drove it on errands today and it already fits me like a comfortable pair of shoes. The bad news: I spent a lot of time sitting by myself. Went to the dealership on the CostCo program. The"deal' I got wasn't that great; probably could have gotten a better deal on my own. The value I got for my trade-in (Jeep Grand Cherokee) was abysmal. Yes, it was in a fender bender or two, except that the fender on the Jeep was only scratched and we never bothered to have it replace (I defy anyone to inspect the fender and find evidence of an accident). Well, there was the dented tail gate which my wife refused to get fixed. But no structural damage, only cosmetic. Thanks, CarFax! Sigh. Anyway, the Jeep was 20 years old, so I didn't feel it was worth arguing over. But even worse than that was the financing terms - 5.99% interest. This was after paying 33% down and having a credit rating of 800+. This is well above the 3.9% that is typical (yes, I googled it) - I feel like I got ripped off. I will pay the loan off on the first payment or earlier (yes, I have the cash); there is no way I am paying this interest rate. Oh, and did I mention I spent a lot of time sitting by myself. I arrived at 11 and finally concluded everything at about 3. I was hungry and exhausted. But then I expected it to be a grueling marathon; car buying always is. I knew there was a reason why I was driving cars that are 15 and 20 years old (well, besides the fact that I am a miser), and this experience reinforced it. Hopefully both my old Accord and new Accord will see many more years before they fall apart (God bless Honda for making long lasting, reliable automobiles), thus avoiding another encounter with a dealership. More
