Absolutely horrible! I brought my car to them with an issue told me it was fixed … it wasn’t. Told them again about the prob and was told that’s all they found and the ca I brought my car to them with an issue told me it was fixed … it wasn’t. Told them again about the prob and was told that’s all they found and the car was fine. A year later they want to charge me for the prob they never fixed and said their was nothing else they could do … while the car was undef warranty. Now that it’s not it’s now a prob that I need to pay for not to mention it has been completely unsafe to drive. Please never deal with them. I will never buy another Nissan ever again. This is only one prob i experienced there have been multiple issues with a new car that has never been fixed properly More
I had a preventive maintenance visit today, including a recall notice regarding the key. I arrived at 9:30, the appointed time. At 11:35 I went to the service dept. to find our what was going on. Apparentl recall notice regarding the key. I arrived at 9:30, the appointed time. At 11:35 I went to the service dept. to find our what was going on. Apparently, my car was ready for quite some time, but the person that checked me in left for some reason and didn’t tell anyone about me. So if I didn’t ask, I’d still be there! Additionally, the fix for the recall has disabled my key from folding into the handle, a real pain. Great friggin’ visit! More
Stay Away. Have had several issues with this dealer and given them many chances to keep my business but now I'm done. 1st issue - Took my car in as it was m Have had several issues with this dealer and given them many chances to keep my business but now I'm done. 1st issue - Took my car in as it was making strange noises. Told them I was concerned that it was the CVT. They said they would check it out. Turned out to be the power steering hose. When I went to pick up the car they charged me over 650 to service the CVT. When I ask them why they did this they said this was the only way they can check it to see if it had an issue when they were looking for the cause of the problem. The power steering hose was leaking and why would they continue to service the CVT 2nd issue – Took my car in to have the Rims fixed under the Rim Protection plan I purchased. They gave me a quote of over 700 dollars and told me the Protection plan only covers 90 per rim. I only had light scratches. Took the car to another dealer and they fixed it if NO cost to me under the Service plan??? 3rd issue – Purhdase a used car from them and was charged over 800 dollars for dealer prep. When I was finalizing the price they never told me this. On the day I was picking up the car, I told them the prices seem higher than expected and they explained it only looks that way as there were rebates applied. Given that this was the 4 car I purchased from them I took their word. When I got home and review the bill I notice that I was charged 895 for dear prep to a car that only has 11K miles on it. What a scam. When back and was given a few free oil changes which I trashed. I know anyone reading this must think I was crazy to still use them. I have given them many changes to keep my business but NOW I would not use this dealer if my life depended on it. STAY AWAY Dishonest dealer and service. More
I want to applaud the Service Manager at Nissan of Yorktown Heights! His name Chris Risnes. He has only been there about 6 months. Although the business is about cars, he is about the people! I believ Yorktown Heights! His name Chris Risnes. He has only been there about 6 months. Although the business is about cars, he is about the people! I believe with his leadership, and modeling excellent customer service, this very low non- rating by the BBB, will not only improve, but excel. Chris went above and beyond to resolve a serious issue I had with my Nissan. I did not have transportation to the service department, and my car had the kind of problem that was a true safety issue. Chris did not delay, put off, make excuses, try to upsell, he went out of his way, came to where I live, left his car and took my car to the service department to be fixed. It took a day longer than he thought it might to get the part. He called me and let me know as soon as he knew. He called me the next day also to share an update. And he called when he was on his way back with my car. Elizabeth, who was at the service desk and took my call, also showed exemplary customer service ... she did not try and "get rid of me', listened to my story, and immediately went and talked to Chris, explained my story and he returned my call within a half hour. Both Chris and Elizabeth made me feel like they would find a solution, no matter what... not more obstacles. If your experince in the service department has felt lacking, prior to 6 months ago, please at least give those two folks a shot... they made all the difference in my experience as a customer needing assistance! Dissappointed with service dept. After going in with a "check engine light" and obvious symptoms, I was charged $400 to clean a mouse nest out of my air cleaner. The problem persist After going in with a "check engine light" and obvious symptoms, I was charged $400 to clean a mouse nest out of my air cleaner. The problem persisted and I took it to my local small garage. He diagnosed the problem (for free) which, as suspected, was the transmission. He simply used the computer code from the check engine light. He couldn't do the job but another Nissan dealer 45 mins from home confirmed the problem and Nissan helped with the cost of a new transmission. More

Two week repair and excessive cost After having two other shops look at my 2008 Titan truck for a intermittent no start problem I took it to Nissan of Yorktown to have it repaired. I ha After having two other shops look at my 2008 Titan truck for a intermittent no start problem I took it to Nissan of Yorktown to have it repaired. I had a good idea of what the problem was and told the Nissan technician what to look for. I suspected it was the ipdm board. Because of their having contact with the engineers at Nissan it would be a simple matter of conferring with them. No...they strung it out for two weeks (saying it took a while to get the car not to start and get the codes in the computer)and if I had not gone to the shop two times to talk to the technician. (I went there because they never returned my calls) it would of cost more than the $850 (they wanted to “do more diagnostics work, really? They wanted more of my money). It was $400 for the part ($150 online). $400 for the labor and key. They did find that the existing ipdm was not the correct part number and the aftermarket ignition key could be problematic so they replaced them. And replaced them telling me they could not guarantee the work. (I was alright what kind of shop am I dealing with? They cannot guarantee the work). It’s been a couple of weeks and the truck has been fine ever since. Warning: I know a mechanic who worked for a Nissan dealership and because they are not that busy they (doing mainly warranty repairs) they charge excessively for none warranty repairs. Look at others reviews and see for yourself if this not the case. More
