Finally I had car car set up for my first time buyer daughter at Universal City Nissan because it was probably the lesser of all evils. After having bougt a few cars in my life I did not want her going daughter at Universal City Nissan because it was probably the lesser of all evils. After having bougt a few cars in my life I did not want her going through the stereotypical games and salespeople I always got. She took one last look around the day before and was determined that she found the car dealership that was unlike any other we had gone and in particular this Jean she swears is an exception to the rule. Skeptical but I let her go on her own while not caneling my appt at Universal nissan. Jean came picked her up from the house and my sister met her there to keep an eye out for me. My sister is even more wary of car salespeople than me to the point of boycotting dealerships and bought her last car from Craigslist. At the end of the day she says she will buy her next car from Jean too. My daughter not only got a great deal, but her first time buying experience was priceless. I stayed out of her space during the entire thing, but she felt like she had a personal advocate who made sure she got every bit of special incentive and service she deserved. Jean took her time to define and answer questions a young first time buyer would be confused about car buying and made her feel like the world, (mostly my entire family) was wrong to stereotype. I think she either got lucky or that dealership is doing something right and should be mentioned. More
I just want to say this was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had. Robert Schumacher made the whole buying process smooth, without any stress, and especially without the typical sleaziness experience I have ever had. Robert Schumacher made the whole buying process smooth, without any stress, and especially without the typical sleaziness other salespeople pull. He really went out of his way to make the deal happen and I'm proud to say he has a customer for life. More

Everytime I visit this dealership it reinforces my feeling that they truly care about their customers. I have purchased six vehicles from this group. From my first service experience with Julie Spicke feeling that they truly care about their customers. I have purchased six vehicles from this group. From my first service experience with Julie Spickerman it was clear that she really cared about me as a person and had an amazing grasp of every aspect of the car business. Julie is the reason I started and remains the reason for my long, positive relationship with this dealership. The last four vehicles I bought were from from Teri Sipotz. She has become like family. She always keeps tabs with me and my family. We love the attention! These two amazing women are the key to the tremendous success of this dealership! More
I had visited this dealership several months ago and was not able to make a deal due to average credit and not being offered enough for my trade in. Today someone named Jean called me and said she wanted me not able to make a deal due to average credit and not being offered enough for my trade in. Today someone named Jean called me and said she wanted me to stop by because they would be able to get me into a 2011 Altima and could work with me with not much down and take my trade in. Of course, when I got there they wanted to give me half of what my truck is worth and had an outrageous payment! I don't appreciate wasting over an hour of my Saturday getting the run around. If you know a customer has already been at your dealership and know their situation, don't get them to come in if you are not truly willing to work with them! Walter, Thousand Oaks, CA More
My wife and I were looking to purchase a Nissan Versa and we contacted Thousand Oaks Nissan via the Internet. We received a cordial reply from Paul Reyes, who asked about the specifics we were looking for and got back to us the next day with a reasonable quote. Two days later we were sitting in Paul's office after a successful test drive, putting the finishing touches on our purchase. I would rate the overall experience as "Good" and working with Paul Reyes "Great." He is friendly, informed, professional, and very flexible. We never felt like he was giving us the ol' "hard sell." We would definitely recommend to our friends and family if they needed a new car to contact Paul Reyes at Thousand Oaks Nissan...--John and Joy Bass, Agoura Hills, CA More
The dealership went the extra mile so therefore I had no problem driving the extra miles to work the deal!! Other dealerships should work this way. Perhaps they would close more sales!! Despite receiving comparable offers on the vehicle of my choice, I chose to go with Nissan of Thousand Oaks. This was because of Paul Reyes, the dealer's Internet Sales Manager, who absolutely impressed me choice, I chose to go with Nissan of Thousand Oaks. This was because of Paul Reyes, the dealer's Internet Sales Manager, who absolutely impressed me with being an extraordinary professional. I appreciate the fact that Paul took the time to respond to my every question through a very lengthy communication process. There was no monkeying around, just straight forward numbers with no fluff. In addition to being genuine and upfront with all the financial information, he had a team of sales associates (working behind the scenes) on getting me the car configuration I requested (they had to deliver the car from another dealer just to accommodate my needs). When I arrived at the dealership, all I had to do was sign the purchase agreement, and make final decision on extended coverage (pre-negotiated as well). I also truly enjoyed interaction and appreciated the patience of their personable Finance Manager, Mark. Overall a good experience and a good deal on all aspects of the purchase of a brand new Maxima. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. More
Almost bought a car from this place but I walked and it was one of the best decisions of my life. They'll try to take advantage of you because they assume you're stupid, unable to catch them in a lie, was one of the best decisions of my life. They'll try to take advantage of you because they assume you're stupid, unable to catch them in a lie, or too impatient to review their paperwork and contracts. Their salesmen, GM and F & I guy will tell you lie after lie to try to force you to complete a credit application - even if you have your own financing. Obtaining an unauthorized credit report is plain old illegal. Review section 616 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If they try this crap with you, sue them and get a rebate courtesy of your local small claims court. When you're about to complete the sale, they'll suddenly remember all the expensive service you have to pay for in order for you to be eligible for your warranty. Then they won't have all the warranty details and will claim they can't find them online, can't get them because the sales department is closed, etc. Meanwhile, they're trying to pressure you through signing your money away. Car dealers have a reputation for a reason. More
