Had a great experience when I bought my new car from Capistran Nissan. I drove up from San Diego because of me internet inquiry. I didn't get the lowest quote from Capistrano but they certainly bent ove Capistran Nissan. I drove up from San Diego because of me internet inquiry. I didn't get the lowest quote from Capistrano but they certainly bent over backwards to accommodate me!! Everyone was so helpful and really worked hard to satisfy my every need. I was told that they had a new management team in place, and it really showed!I was working with a very tight budget and I was afraid I wouldn't find a car within my price range. Paul the sales manager really stepped in and helped me put together a deal that I could afford. He was very patient and spent alot of time calling around to other dealerships trying to find the exact car I wanted. He found it! I was so very excited and I really do love the car. My boyfriend was so impressed he bought a new car that same day too! I will try to get him to write a letter of rec as well since I know how pleased he was with the whole buying process. More
I was at this dealership this morning. 7/14/07 for a a trade-in. The only reason I went there was because I was told, via phone conversation with sales manager and salesperson that I could be helped and trade-in. The only reason I went there was because I was told, via phone conversation with sales manager and salesperson that I could be helped and they could definitely get me what I was looking for. Sales Manager even called me the day before my appointment to verify my information about my trade-in and reiterated how they could help me. I spent $15 in gas money and got up extra early, to be there at 8:00 a.m., under those false pretenses. It turns out during my 2 hour stay and 2 test drives, there were 3 people trying to give me deals way beyond what I was looking for. When I was assertive and stated I was firm on what we had discussed via phone, yet another person was pulled over to try and get me to take something else at a higher payment. I gave all of the specifics before my visit there; what I needed, what my current payment was, balance owed, yr. of vehicle, mileage, reason for trade-in, etc. They told me they were very excited about my trade-in and could help me get what I was looking for, as far as payment, no $$ down, economy car, etc. The only information I did not give at the time was my social security. The reason for trade-in was to lower my payment. Needless to say, they finally admitted they could not give me what I wanted, due to my insisting on "let's not waste anymore of anyone's time". I shook their hands and left. Why I shook their hands....I don't know! I had brought a friend who was interested in trading her car in as well, but after sitting through my ordeal with me, she laughed so hard at the unprofessionalism and backwardness of this dealership that she wouldn't even consider it. The last thing I would do "ever" is recommend Capistrano Nissan. More
I bought my Nissan Murano from this dealership 2 years ago. Love the car.... sooooooooo want to love the dealership but they make it so impossible. It's really obvious that the top management doesn't wan ago. Love the car.... sooooooooo want to love the dealership but they make it so impossible. It's really obvious that the top management doesn't want to put the money into offering service. They continue to make promises but no delivery. I ask if they have a part in stock before I arrive, when I arrive they don't. I ask if I can have my car serviced and out by a certain time, they say yes... yet they can't make it happen. The list goes on and on. The sales experience was just as bad. Buy a Nissan, just not from Capistrano. More
I drove down from Long beach and arrived at 8:30AM. This is the time their website says they are open even on sundays. Nope. I waited for 1.5 hours for them to open at 10. Brillaint. the very specific c is the time their website says they are open even on sundays. Nope. I waited for 1.5 hours for them to open at 10. Brillaint. the very specific car i was interested in i was told was sold 2 weeks prior even though it was verified available on auto trader 12 hours prior. So, long story short, their website in not correct on their opening times and they are way out of date on their online sales. Thanks for wasting 3 hours of my day and $15 of gas. I hope companies like this go out of business. More
