UPDATED: I spoke with Martin the day after the lapse in communnication occured. He was very helpful and I believe he tried to get a deal together. He volunteered to have my car looked at free of charge at another dealership(mine is not a Nissan so he is covering the cost of my car at another dealership) FIrst of all for someone to go above and beyond like that is unreal to me. I am greatly appreciative of that. If you want to get treated with good customer service and honesty, deal with these guys. THanks again for going above and beyond. It actually restores some faith in car dealerships. INTIAL POST: I went to this dealership in hopes they could help me get the car I found on thier site. I spoke to the finance lady first to see if it was even an option with my credit score. She said she could probably get a better deal and get the GM involved to handle the deal personally. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. I went to the dealership I was passed off to some saleman (who was really nice) However as soon as they saw my credit score they acted all surprised and all of a sudden there was nothing they could do. I was not wrong about my score, I knew I had a mess of negative equity. I just needed help buying a new car. I was told 3 times that I would get a call back on the deal and it would get handeled; and I have yet to recieve the call. SO I called the GM to get him on board and I was put on hold repeatedly and then was told "he must not be here or he has gone home" I really wish car dealerships were in it for all customers instead of the money they want to make. I understand it takes money to run a business but I should have been told up front there was nothing they could do. I feel very taken advantage of by this dealership. More

I bought a 2012 Frontier and Angela took the time to show me what every button was for,and an all around tour of the truck. I felt comfortable with her too. I have never had a car saleman or sales woman so wonderful to work with. I am so glad I bought my truck from her and Nissan of Rivergate and drove from Franklin Kentucky to do so. Thank You. More

Well I bought a 2009 Nissan Rouge from Carnival Kia in Rivergate Thursday afternoon. The transmission just all of a sudden went out Friday night. Kia took the car to Nissan and what looked like a bad transmission which was going to take a while to order a new one and take a while to install it. The service guy Brian looked at it and whithin a couple of hours had it ready to go. Something electrical went out causing the fail safe transmission to disengage and he had me ready to go within hours. Fast reliable and very nice. More

Quite simply, they made things so smooth and easy and were amazing to deal with. If there was a scale of how impressed and satisfied I was with this purchase it would be 10/10. In Particular, I would like to thank PHIL DATTILO for his amazing service. Phil and I exchanged Over 30 emails in buying the car. He was lighting fast on email, within minutes for I would always hear from him in response. He was very honest and got me an amazing deal. He organized transportation to pick me up from the airport and Dewayne was great to talk to and he literally stayed by my side every minute to see if I needed anything when I was at Rivergate. Rodney was extremely helpful and had me in and out of the dealership within an hour. He let me check out every facet of the vehicle and take my time in doing so. Coming from New York, it was extremely refreshing to be at a home town dealership where the people were genuinely nice and extremely helpful. I flew and drove 700 miles to get this car from this dealership so you can bet they did a Fantastic job in price and service in selling me this car. I am very happy and you will be too!! I wrote the following on 3/7/12. 15 minutes after putting it in, I got a call from the dealership. They told me by business was important to them and would rectify my complaint. 24 hours later everything was it in, I got a call from the dealership. Thank you Phil. I want to first say so I don't sound jaded.... I love my Nissan. I like the price I paid. I am appalled by the lack of customer service after the sale. It took a matter of 5 minutes after we signed the paperwork. After agreeing on a price, we sat and waited about an hour for finance. I discussed several things with my salesman 1. the vehicle would be cleaned prior to being delivered to us 2. I would get a full tank of gas 3. The vehicle came with 2 keys. 1. I received the vehicle dirty, I asked to have it cleaned and had to wait until the newest customer was serviced, despite concluding my sale first. 2. The vehicle was given to me with less than half a tank of gas. I asked my salesman about this and he went to the manager who gave him a gas card. The salesman asked me to let him drive to the gas station. I let him, and he put in... 2 gallons of gas. He filled the gas to exactly half a tank. He then told me since I bought used I don't get a full tank. I bought the vehicle as is, that means gas too. 3. I was told the vehicle was certified pre-owned because it was the dealer manager's wife's vehicle. They made sure it was properly serviced and taken care of. She had the second key to the vehicle and they would get it in a few days. I could get it when I picked up the plates. Despite multiple follow up calls and my picking up the plates, I still have only one key. The salesman tells me the manager hasn't responded to his multiple requests but......since I bought used it was as is and they can't guarantee 2 keys. My wife asked for a manager. Mr Williams came and spoke with us with the great deal that he would sell us a new key at dealer's cost. $150.00. I just found it online for $99.00. At my wife's insistence, Mr. Williams agreed that if we understood the purchase included 2 keys he would try to help us out. He would contact the manager about the 2nd key and would get back to us the next day. Three days later, I haven't heard a peep. 4. Despite being charged $95 for new tags, my county is $75 for tags, I had to pay for the emissions test and mail it to the dealership. They told me I would be reimbursed for the test. I was not. I am just amazed that this dealership is willing to upset a customer who just spent $37k over $100 for a key and $30 for gas. If they are willing to get bad reviews and have a young 30 something tell everyone not to shop with them and sour what could a have a good relationship over $130.00 where else are they pulling a fast one? How do they call this customer service? I now even doubt the accuracy of the low mileage on my vehicle and what does certified pre-owned mean to them? They offered 2 free oil changes. I got a coupon book in the mail that said I should have received 2 coupons for free oil changes at the purchase. I didn't, but I'm not sure I care. If the sales staff is this bad, why should I expect different from the service department? More
Bought my Nissan Juke from Rivergate Nissan in July of 2011. Had trouble finding one in stock - some other dealers wanted a $1000 non-refundable deposit before they would even put my name on a list to get 2011. James had the color I wanted in stock and we drove over 100 miles to the dealership. The whole experience was completely different than I expected - in a good way. No pressure, no hidden costs, and great people to work with. I only wish I lived closer so they could do my service work. I love my Juke and I love this dealership and will shop there again the next time I am looking for a Nissan. More
