This dealership is the absolute worst when it comes to service. I spoke with the service manager Don in follow up to my review on google which I had to call them after the owner stated Aaron would call. A service. All they want is money from you the care of your car means nothing to them. Don wanted to go back in forth instead of actually helping and was very rude. No one at this dealership would want there family treated how they treat customers. My questions was never answered as to why no one informed me about having my transmission serviced instead he told me it’s in the owners manual. My car is 3 years old so I’m sorry I couldn’t remember something I read 3 years ago. But I’m getting service at the dealership so why didn’t someone there say something? Completely disappointed and disgusted with this entire place. More
Service dept is a total joke. They ask you to bring your car in for a recall repair. After having the car at the dealership for 6+ hours we call for an update. Part never came in. But I feel the service department at Nissan of Richmond took full advantage of me in a time of need for my family. I went to them in good faith to help with a transition of a truck from my father in law who was just put in hospice care. The truck had been sitting for more than 4 months and was in need of some service. Now the truck is a 2004 and it has just reached a little over 100k in miles so I had asked for all major and minor services for a 100k truck should have. I knew this would be a costly charge since they were replacing all belts and fluids a tune up and full detail of the truck. When I was asked to pick it up the cost came in at 4700.00 Not telling me or asking me for permission to change out a starter a muffler or 3 cylinders . Now when I questioned them they immediately took off 500 dollars which took the cost to 4200.00 I said to Ron Trotman who was my service advisor that why did I not get a call for the extra work he had no answer for me. I was expecting to pay somewhere between 2000 to 2500 to do the service on this truck still with no reply. I get there Thursday to pick it up and after I was told on Monday it was in for detail they never cleaned the truck. They said they did an alignment service and when I pulled out of the dealership the truck was pulling hard to the left. I called to talk to a service manager and I was told he would call me back in an hour...3 days later I still have not heard from him... Now I question whether they did any of the work they said they did. I would of brought the truck back but I had to help put my Father in Law into the retreat hospital in the fan for hospice care and head back to North Carolina where I had to return to work.. The truck is siting at my mother in laws house waiting for Nissan of Richmond to return a phone call and help me with some kind of resolution, More
Poor Customer Service, Scheduling of Service Horrible If I could give negative stars, I would. I have free oil changes and state inspections from this dealership and have been going to them off an on (un If I could give negative stars, I would. You cannot schedule service on their horrible website. When calling instead, since I'm forced to, I'm told I need to schedule at least 2 months out for any kind of service. What if I have an emergency repair? For state inspection, I was told to schedule a year in advance! I asked him if he was serious when he told me that and he said - "why not?" When I HAVE been able to schedule an appointment - you will sit there for HOURS waiting on a simple oil change. I'd rather pay and find someplace who cares. It's not even about the money. It's about taking care of your customers. They DO NOT CARE and cannot handle servicing in the very busy west end of Richmond. More

I visited Nissan of Richmond twice for this issue before meeting with Meagan. She thoroughly explained the cancellation process and vowed to keep me updated on the progress. She was true to her word and completed my gap insurance and service contract cancellation request for my 2016 Maxima that I paid of early. I am truly appreciative of the customer service she provided. I never felt that I was unaware of the status of my claim under Meagan. she continuously kept me updated. I have received my refund check thanks to the dedication and responsiveness of this awesome Nissan of Richmond representative. Meagan aim high and thanks for all you do! Gabe Watts More
