Very happy with the dealership and my Nissan purchase. I have never felt pressured when buying a vehicle and find all the staff very friendly and helpful. Have leased 6 Maximas and have always had good dealings with most of the people I have dealt with. If a problem arose , it was taken care of immediately by managers or salespeople. I purchased a Certified 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE, 33,000 miles with the extended Nissan Wrap Around warranty at Nissan of Norwich in March 2011. This has proved to be an extremely disappointing and nerve racking experience. After driving away from purchasing the vehicle the low fuel light came on. I would not recommend them as a dealer. The sales team was polite and cordial but I felt like an inconvenience when I returned a week later to have promised service done to the vehicle. I mentioned the vehicle was not riding smooth at speeds in excess of 50 mph, possibly due to the dealer installing two new inexpensive Nexen N5000 tires on the front, which did not match the Bridgestone Turanza tires on the rear. The salesman told me the service department checked the balance of the tires and it was fine. I was told to drive it for a while and if it keeps up to return. Today, I brought the car back in requesting the problem to addressed. The service department checked it out and stated a back tire was a bit off balance. I requested two new matching tires which I think would correct the problem. The dealership stated it is not a safety concern and that it passed inspection as is. After speaking with Nissan of Norwich today, they offered to purchase one additional tire if I buy the other. After reading several bad reviews on Nexen tires I opted to bite the bullet and have Goodyear put four matching new tires on. The technicians at Goodyear showed me one of the front rims was wobbling from being bent. They were shocked that this could go unnoticed. The alignment was way off, so this had to be corrected at my expense. The next day I sent an email to the dealership informing them of the bent rim asking for a replacement. After receiving no reply, I called the dealership and was told that the dealership declined to purchase a rim replacement. I asked to speak with the general manager, and he told me to bring the car in on Monday and the service department has a machine to fix bent rims. This is the department that mounted a tire on a bent rim and checked it twice when I complained about a rough ride. This is the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle. I feel like I was taken and that I am stuck. Today I brought the vehicle to the dealer where they confirmed the rim was bent. The sales manager offered to pay half the cost of a $600 rim, which I declined. More

My husband and I went into the dealer last Sat. to look at the Nissan Rogue. Lenny and Tim was very helpful. When we are ready to trade in our second car we would go back. I had to bring the car back in on at the Nissan Rogue. Lenny and Tim was very helpful. When we are ready to trade in our second car we would go back. When we looked at the car there were some things that we asked to be fixed including one of the buttons on the radio and the hubcaps. I took the car back and forth numerous times to the dealership over the next couple of weeks and kept getting the run around as to when these parts would be replaced. My husband stepped in and called to demand what we were promised. The cracked hub cap was replaced with a stock hubcap that did not match the other three! After another week of stringing us along they gave us four aftermarket hubcaps. These hubcaps kept falling off! My husband went there to speak with the manager, Sammy, and was told he would need a week to get us the stock hubcaps. A week later, my husband called and was told that they would not get the new hubcaps because we "did not want the ones we were given". We feel as though we were lied to and taken advantage of. Not to mention we still have not received the radio button either! We will NEVER go back to Nissan of Norwich and we would NEVER recommend them to anyone. We never should have paid for the car until they did what they had promised. More
This has been the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. The vehicle not being ready for delivery on the day it was promised .Then the Nissan of Norwich making an error on my registration. Then not honoring there word or the warranty that is in writing and mandated by the state of Connecticut. More
Our experience at Norwich Nisson has been the best we have ever had at any dealership. The friendly atmosphere is truly felt, not like most that just put on a face for you. We really liked the up front business, not the "let me go in back as see if I can get the boss to agree to a deal." All our questions were answered and we have no doubt we received the vehicle and deal we wanted. Sammy was great getting the financing set up. Chris went over everything when we signed the paperwork and we had no unanswered questions. We did have a problem with the truck a week after buying it on Sunday. An alternator problem. Mario was right there to see what the problem was, set up a loaner car in a few minutes, and we were on our way. The truck was in for two days being fixed. Mario called each day and kept me informed what was being done and when I could pick up the vehicle. As promised, it was ready when he said it would be. Both my husband and I were extremely happy with Nissan of Norwich. I love my new Sentra and the process was painless.
