The website price was honored. There was then a $3500 dealer prep fee added when I went to buy the car at full list. I was told specifically by Ransom that this involved the following- car alignment, a roughly 90 point inspection including brakes if needed, tire replacement if needed and an oil change, fluid service, etc. I asked for the copies of these reports for my records. I was never given the brake measurements, the alignment specs or even a sheet with the pre-purchase inspection signed off on. I also asked specifically for an OEM windshield replacement since they were going to replace it anyway due to a crack. Ransom never provided the paperwork which makes one assume they never did any inspection at all. Then despite having it in the contract, they used some random after-market windshield as well. When I balked over this, the manager Ty Charles got involved. He apologized, gave me a small discount for the windshield. Then he said he’d email me the paperwork from the alignment, brakes, PPI etc. They were not sent and I’ve followed up multiple times. On his word, I initially get them good reviews, but then I realized I’d been lied to. Ty refuses to return or take my calls despite having been there when I’ve called. Additionally, I am still owed a check to cover the cost of the second key which they were missing. This check has not appeared either. The key is about $500 to replace. $191 key, $225/hr program fee and $100 to laser cut at Bees keys. I’ve bought more than 50 cars and I’ve never been treated dishonestly like this. I’m interested in resolving these issues, if the dealership is open to the opportunity.
