When my mother and I put up at the dealership there was five of them standing outside waiting like vultures surrounded us want not business trying to make us feel like we were the most important thing they five of them standing outside waiting like vultures surrounded us want not business trying to make us feel like we were the most important thing they had seen all day long when it got to the point test driving the car I did so with a Mr Dennis hunt done my business like the car Mr Dennis hunt done my paperwork he was my dealer all was good and well not a problem we're not received the key to my Nissan rogue by it being a push start I had a key that you know on lobster door locks the door and without that part your key your car won't crank not knowing that there was an issue with the key went ahead with the paperwork signed everything left with the vehicle I say within three or four hours I was at Walmart I had lost part of the key three different times had to climb upon the shelf at Walmart cuz it filled upon there mind you if you lose that part of the key your car and will not crank called back I went back up there because they took so long the first day I had to go back to get my car detailed when I did I told Mr Dennis about the key situation oh let me check if there's an extra one that came with the car that's the last time I spoke with him I called 19 times left over 10 messages this man wouldn't answer wouldn't call back wouldn't speak to someone nothing so I spoke with a Mr James left a message but with another gentleman left a message spoke with the lady in the tags department left a message well since a key wasn't negotiated in the agreement there's nothing we can do now you can buy key mind you I haven't had this car 30 days it's not even time for payment within 24 hours went back to Mr Dennis hunt showed him the key will not stay together told him the situation I was having that once did he care as a matter of fact the look he had on his face as if he was being bothered mind you he made money off of me purchasing this vehicle through Lumberton Nissan but once you sign that paperwork you are nobody and no one in absolutely obsolete definitely with Mr Dennis hunt I don't write reviews I don't take my time to do that because I'm so busy but I'm so disgusted by this situation with this deal or Mr Dennis hunt then I'll take all day long to write this review just to let everyone know if you do business with this man after you sign your name on the dotted line and he didn't have made his money off of you he could care less anything else you got to say and that is a disgusting way to first treat a customer and it's a disgusting human being way to be towards someone that you just made money off of knowing when you gave the customer that key if there was an issue with it because if you had it in your hand it definitely fell apart on you just as well as it fell apart on me so for you to even go as far as trying to sneak that by me or whatever you want to call it is a disgusting way to be that's a snake in a grass that's someone that's not to be trusted and I'm security officer for the state of North Carolina I ain't got time for foolishness or lies or to be played like a sucker and I feel like Mr Dennis hunt that's what you have done to me so anyone going to Lumberton Nissan if you come across or encounter a Mr Dennis hunt if you know like I do walk the other way cuz as soon as he gets your name on that dotted line you are nothing and nobody to him and he will not respond to you or return a call to you that is disgusting truly disgusting you sir Mr Dennis hunt makes that company look bad you and you alone More

I am writing on behalf of a family member, that I had to hear about the worst purchase and worst interaction with management, empty promises, and unprofessionalism. All of this could have been handled professionally. Instead, Sam Ajayi General Manager did the opposite of his promises, and my family member is stuck with a truck payment for a truck they have yet to drive or have in their possession. More
I was absolutely appalled with my experience at Nissan of Lumberton. First, I called and told them exactly what I was looking for, what I was trading, and what I could do financially. After telling me they'd call back in 20 minutes, they didn't call back until the next day. Then, they told me they could do it, but that it would be easier if I came in store - so I did. I drove over an hour away, and when I got there, the man I had been working with, IMMEDIATELY passed me off on someone else. (First red flag). When I told this salesperson what I was trying to do, he said "ooooh that's gonna be tough, but I'll see what I can do." (Second red flag). I proceeded to tell him I was looking for an SUV, newer than what I was driving but NOT BRAND NEW. So after a while, he pulled up a vehicle for me to look at. What was it? A brand new 2025 SEDAN. (Third red flag). EXACTLY WHAT I SAID I DIDN'T WANT. With payments double what I could afford. I told him I didn't want it, and he talked me into driving it. So I did, and told him I didn't want it and that there had to be an SUV somewhere on the lot they could get me in. So he pulled up ANOTHER brand new vehicle - a 2025 Nissan Kicks. Which I loved. But they could not get the payment where I needed, and they only wanted to offer me 1000 for my trade (2016 Honda Fit in great condition), so we left and went home. Fast forward two days later, I'm on my way to Cornelius NC to pick up a 2022 Nissan Kicks, that was in my price range, AND they had gotten an offer for 4800 on my Honda to trade in....so I jumped on it. Well, I got a phone call from Nissan of Lumberton while I was on my way to pick up my car from Modern Nissan, and they asked if I had given any thought to the Kicks. I said "Yes, I'm on my way to get one from another dealership as we speak". Lumberton then asked me why I didn't want to purchase from them, and I told them Modern had gotten me a GREAT deal.... Their response? "Well what if we can match that deal and get you in the new one?" I told them they had their chance to do that two days prior when I was in there shopping, and they HUNG UP ON ME. Save yourself the trouble, and drive the extra hour to Cornelius' Modern Nissan Of Lake Norman. They were super pleasant to deal with, and not wishy washy on their deals! More

On Friday, November 15th, my daughter called the service department and was told to have her car at the service department Monday at 8:30. On Monday 11/18, they told her she wasn't on schedule for that day department and was told to have her car at the service department Monday at 8:30. On Monday 11/18, they told her she wasn't on schedule for that day but took her in and kept her there from 8:30 until 4:00. They ordered the part and said they would fix the car on Tuesday. Her car has been at the dealership since Monday. The only call she received was to let her know the part didn't come in on Tuesday and that they would have her car ready Wednesday by closing. She called on Wednesday at 3:00, and the rep. couldn't give her an update and said they would call her back, but she didn't receive a call. POOR COMMUNICATION!! More

Stay away from this dealership! They misdiagnosed my vehicle and when it was properly diagnosed I was told I would be refunded for the diagnostic.
