I have a 2019 Nissan Versa with 13k miles. I just purchased it in March. My check engine light came on and I made an appointment to get it looked at. The check engine light was “ON” when I drove it i purchased it in March. My check engine light came on and I made an appointment to get it looked at. The check engine light was “ON” when I drove it into the bay of the Nissan service center. I waited in the lobby for about 40 min. The tech came out and told me that there was no light on for the engine. I thought WOW! So my check engine light was on and now it’s off? How convenient for Nissan I thought. I really think the tech turned the light back off in the computer of the car. They told me that now there is a paper trail so next time it comes on they will have record of it. I told them my gut instinct tells me the transmission is bad and it drives as though there is an issue with it too. I am very disappointed in how Nissan handled this issue. More
When I arrived had to wait before I was acknowledged. I stated to technician I need them to do a oil change, tire rotation and check a maintenance light that was in. They charged me 80+ dollars and did not know if tire rotation was done or what the result was for the Maintanace light. Guy looked over the paperwork and could not find any information. When I came home I reread the paperwork and tire rotation was not done at all. They charged me for that error light but in actuality the light was in due to the oil change. Was not secure with knowing if any was completed. More
