Horrible car buying experience This was by far the worst car shopping experience of all time ----- Nissan of Huntington ---- lies -- tries to cheat -- and is the most unprofession This was by far the worst car shopping experience of all time ----- Nissan of Huntington ---- lies -- tries to cheat -- and is the most unprofessional car dealer on Long Island --- We went to shop for a Nissan Sentra for my son ----- we picked a model --- they ran a credit report ----- we explained that we were coming up with the first month's payment and the motor vehicle fees as out of pocket money ----- meaning that's all they would get --- everything else was to be rolled into the lease ----- they came back with a quote of 149.00 per month ---- we agreed - then we proceeded to take care of the insurance binder and they were getting the car ready for us to drive it home ---- my son was very excited about this ------- they then came back and stated they forgot about the tax and they neglected to roll it into the lease ---- after a heated discussion, as the general sales manager (Vic, I believe) was extremely rude and unprofessional --- trying to make it that we made the mistake --- he was terrible to talk to ----- we agreed to roll the taxes into the lease --- and the price was increased 20.00 to 169.00 per month. ---- still pissed off ---but, we agreed and were ready to move forward ------ then they came back and stated they need 317.00 more up front -- for God knows what ---- that was the last straw we walked ----------- --Please save yourself from the nightmare known as Nissan of Huntington and shop elsewhere ---------- you'll thank me More

Customer Service at it's best with 1 disadvantage. After returning to the Nissan dealership I got my previous leased vehicle from, and receiving a run around for 1 week, after numerous phone calls to t After returning to the Nissan dealership I got my previous leased vehicle from, and receiving a run around for 1 week, after numerous phone calls to the salesman were made, he tells me that he's decided to go back to his old place of employment and that he gave another salesman there, all of the information on what I was looking for. The salesman had NO idea about what I was inquiring about. So, leaving a bad taste in my mouth, I decided to visit this dealership. Within a few minutes, I was being helped. I ended up leasing a different vehicle than the one I was interested in. The salesman was very helpful and provided me with many selections and worked up numbers immediately. He was very attentive and courteous and knew the true meaning of customer service. I also want to mention that although the salesman was great, the waiting process was extremely long. In total the wait time was about 5 hours. This is too long and dealerships will lose business this way. People do not have time to sit around for that many hours. I witnessed many people that day who were very annoyed. One person said to his salesman "You're going to have to start feeding people here soon". There has to be a better way. More
