This was the best car buying experience I’ve had in several years. Charles explained the vehicle in detail as well as the buying process. No pressure at all. When I went to pick up my vehicle Charles i several years. Charles explained the vehicle in detail as well as the buying process. No pressure at all. When I went to pick up my vehicle Charles introduced me to the service department, and helped with the Nissan app. I highly recommend this dealership and send kudos to John the manager & Andy from finance! DO NOT GO TOO THIS DEALERSHIP! ONE STAR IS TOO MANY TO GIVE THEM!! Their service department manager TJ and advisors especially Nelson are lying, spiteful pieces of xxxx. I brought ONE STAR IS TOO MANY TO GIVE THEM!! Their service department manager TJ and advisors especially Nelson are lying, spiteful pieces of xxxx. I brought my car there for inspection and oil change. First I show him a 25% off maintenance service (there was NO fine print). Nelson told me it wasn’t good for the oil change. THEN, he noticed i haven’t been there since 2020. I told him i was bringing my car near my old job because it was easier for me. I told him i just had my brakes done in October. Well, after waiting two hours, of course he wants to try to sell me something. He said I need two filters for $150 and mud clips for $180. He didn’t say anything about my car failing inspection. I said not to do the clips.. but do the filters. After researching filters I decided not to do it since they were charging me double the price. So now he comes back and tells me my car failed inspection due to my two front windows being tinted. Meanwhile I bought the car brand new in 2017 from the same dealership right off the showroom floor with them tinted. They passed inspection all these years. He proceeds to say i must have gotten them tinted between 2020-til now and the guy i brought my car to passed it for me. 😡. Then the manager TJ lies to me and tells me that a new law was passed in 2021. Of course he said 2021. I asked him how he determined they failed. He said by a meter. I said I’d like to see. He said he didn’t have to show me. 🤬 of course he didn’t. Because he was lying and only failed it because I refused to do the filters for double the price. I went somewhere else right after i left there and got the inspection and filters for half the price. I thought about trading my car in as it only has 72000 miles on it being a 2016 is very good. Now, i will NOT give them my business! STAY AWAY!!!!!! This isn’t the first time they tried to rip me off. More

I will never get anot not fix they still your money and do not fix the problem. Temporary fix so you go back and spend more money that is not needed. I will never get another Nissan again. There attitude is not friendly at all all they want is your money More
This dealership attempted to upcharge me and add extra fees and effectively not honor the terms of my lease when I attempted to purchase the vehicle at lease end. I was quoted almost $ 5,000.00 above my fees and effectively not honor the terms of my lease when I attempted to purchase the vehicle at lease end. I was quoted almost $ 5,000.00 above my non negotiable lease and buy back option. I remind everyone that this dealership was investigated for this type of conduct previously and this was was reported on the news. NMAC bulletin 21-1-2040v2 that Nissan provides to their dealers specifically reminds dealers that they MUST honor the terms of the lease agreement and that customers MUST be treated equitably and respectfully at all times. This type of behavior is unacceptable and I will certainly make this known to proper authorities. I have already filed a report with Nissan' consumer affairs and I intend to go to Suffolk County Consumer Affairs as well. I was able to directly purchase the vehicle from Nissan and I suggest anyone looking to do this go directly to Nissan as well. I will not tolerate dishonest dealerships and I will continue to make this known to authorities in the coming days. More
Do yourself a favor and Avoid Nissan of Huntington at all costs! I wish someone would’ve warned me. I never did look at the reviews before bringing my car to this dealership, so unfortunately I learned th costs! I wish someone would’ve warned me. I never did look at the reviews before bringing my car to this dealership, so unfortunately I learned the hard way! In my defense it was an emergency and the closest dealership to my house. I took my Nissan Rogue in for service and after 30 minutes of waiting, I was told that my two year old car required a new engine. The best part, according to Nissan of Huntington this was not covered under my leasing agreement or warranty. They quoted me a price on a refurbished engine for $9,000 and a brand new engine would be $18,000. Which is actually the buy out on my lease as well! The service Dept then went on to insinuate that it was our fault for poor maintenance. Their explanation of poor maintenance was performing our own oil changes and also using an outside mechanic, other than a Nissan dealer. All this without fully assessing the engine and within a half hour time. I even provided receipts, to prove that I had my car serviced a week prior. The manager assured me that he’d look into the situation and get back to me. A week later his recommendation was the same to either purchase a new engine,a used engine or a new vehicle from them, but basically said our car was junk and worth nothing now. They then went on to tell us that our vehicle had zero value now due to the engine being blown and these were our only options. As a long term customer of Nissan, I was extremely upset. This was my 6th Nissan. I have never dealt with such rude, dishonest and incompetent employees. This includes all the management in the dealership as well. They were basically scamming us! They were trying to have us purchase a new vehicle by price gauging a new vehicle to include the cost of an engine from my existing lease. After one week and waiting countless hours at the dealership with two babies, sick to Our stomachs, and not knowing what we were going to do, we decided to tow our car out of Nissan of Huntington to get a second opinion. So this is the best part…. there was absolutely nothing wrong with our vehicle!!!! How this dealership is still allowed to operate is insanity! So as a favor to anyone out there who has learned their lesson from not reading reviews , like me , before visiting this place of business read this review and stay FAR FAR away from Nissan of Huntington!!!! Hopefully This review saved you some heartache and headaches which I wish it did for me!!! More
Save yourself a lot of stress, anxiety and aggravation and DO NOT STEP FOOT into Nissan of Huntington. I went to this dealership on May 31 st and worked out a deal for a Nissan Sentra model S for $ 25,25 and DO NOT STEP FOOT into Nissan of Huntington. I went to this dealership on May 31 st and worked out a deal for a Nissan Sentra model S for $ 25,250. My salesman, Michael Jackson was professional and allowed the car to sell itself. He was not pushy and I never got the feeling he was trying to be manipulative or rip me off. The final numbers, as usual were worked out with the sales manager, Ramiro Taveras who is a deceptive liar as it turned out. I was told my car would arrive within a week which would have been June 7th. It did not. On June 9th I was told to come in tomorrow because it was here. When we arrived at the dealership we found out that was not true and Ramiro wanted to pressure me into purchasing a Nissan Versa which has a sticker price of $ 4,000 less and my car was not even there. At that point I should have realized what I was dealing with. I was told it would be here tomorrow the latest but they would be upgrading me to a Nissan SV at the same price for the inconvenience and extended wait. The sticker price difference was $ 1,440. It did not come the next day as promised. It was a week later that I was told it was there which was June 17th. AT this point it was over 3 weeks since I purchased it and was told it would be here within a week. When I got to the dealership a different manager came out to apologize and say that I could only have it if I was willing to pay $ 3,000 more!!! The sticker price difference was half that. Ramiro Taveras, the sales manager only came out after we told them he must. He was very rude, nasty and unprofessional and even raised his voice when he was the one who was lying. He claims he never said that which I have proof he did and why would a different manager start a convo with" I apologize but we have a problem" if it was not said ?????? Stay away from this dealer. They have deceptive business practices and the sales manager, Ramiro Taveras is a xxx who will lie right to your face. The other manager and sales person I dealt with were honest and I am sure they will not last working here because why would anyone want to work for a lying snake like that. I have emails and all proof that what was done was not right or fair. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!! More
Scam Artists. Not honoring the original lease buyout. I came to this dealership with the intention of completing a lease buy out. I have a 2019 Nissan Leaf whi Not honoring the original lease buyout. I came to this dealership with the intention of completing a lease buy out. I have a 2019 Nissan Leaf which had reached its end of lease. I brought my car into the dealership as advised by Nissan corporate for the mandatory lease inspection. When I sat down in the financing office (I had intended to buy the car out with a cashier's check) I was advised that in order to buy the car I needed to complete a "Certification Inspection" that would cost $1895. They said that they were willing to come down on the price as a courtesy but I ended up being charged $1431 extra. According to the original lease agreement, I was not responsible for ANY fees other than a $395 dealer fee, taxes and DMV. They were not willing to release my car to me without me agreeing to pay for the CPO Inspection Fee. A certification inspection is something that’s performed on CPO (certified preowned) vehicles - a car that is being sold by a branded dealer and is the same make (Nissan being sold at a Nissan dealer, for example), and it comes with a CPO warranty, 7 years, 100k miles from the date of original sale. There was no written warranty provided to me. There was no warranty extended to me. I was absolutely scammed and ripped off. No one had told me that this was an optional fee. No one has said that I didn't need to pay for this. I asked if I had to pay this fee and they said, "Everyone is charging it, whether you go here or Bay Shore or Smithtown." This is an unethical tactic that violates the Nissan policy. They are trying to markup on a car that they didn't even sell. They tried to normalize a fee that they shouldn't have charged in the first place. I suggest that no one do business with this place if they are going to use such deceptive behaviors. More
Delayed crediting my credit card for a deal that fell through. Sales Manager called me asinine for registering a complaint with Nissan North America Consumer Affairs to retrieve my $2,500 deposit after s through. Sales Manager called me asinine for registering a complaint with Nissan North America Consumer Affairs to retrieve my $2,500 deposit after several weeks. On a lease for a 2022 Altima they wanted me to lay out a total of over $6,000 in fees including the $2,500 down payment. Interestingly enough they later called me and said "you win" and later accepted the original numbers I gave them for the lease. I leased a better equipped (non-Nissan) car at another dealership and saved over $4,000.00. Previously I leased 5 Nissan cars at Huntington Nissan over the years, that will never happen again! What happened to Nissan of Huntington, they used to be so good! They service department is excellent and friendly. More
