Very upset. My 2014 Nissan Juke has less than 27,000 miles on it. Early last week the A/C started blowing warm air and horrible fumes started coming in through t My 2014 Nissan Juke has less than 27,000 miles on it. Early last week the A/C started blowing warm air and horrible fumes started coming in through the vents. I panicked and drove my car into Firestone because the fumes were overwhelming and made me nauseous and a bit dizzy. They tested it and told me there was a leak in the evaporator core and they recommended I take my car to the dealership for repair. So I made an appointment for 9 am at the dealership and I patiently waited and waited. Several hours later I was charged $430.79 for the testing (The same testing done at Firestone) and the results was the same... a leak in the evaporator core. Then I was told it would cost over $5,000 to repair! The car is probably only worth $6,000! I am a disabled senior citizen on social security and don't have that kind of money. Florida ungodly summer and monsoon rain storms have already begun but I guess I will just have to go without the luxury of air conditioning and pray I don't need to use my window defoggers. Not long after I got home I nearly fell out when I got a text message inviting me to come in to buy a new Nissan! When I purchased the car I had paid for the extended warranty. Well I guess it expired just when I needed it the most.???? More
