Good attitudes, promises kept but car poorly prepared This CPO car had a reasonable asking price, drove well and had a set of new tires. There was some minor sheet metal damage near a rear wheel well and This CPO car had a reasonable asking price, drove well and had a set of new tires. There was some minor sheet metal damage near a rear wheel well and various rub marks, scratches and dings that we wanted repaired. We also asked for a couple of accessories thrown in and that the interior be detailed, as it was visibly filthy. We gave them a week to accomplish all this and were informed that all was in order for our appointment time. After signing papers there was an unexplained delay "getting the car ready", which apparently resulted from the detailer arriving to work an hour after our appointment. The sheet metal and bumper cover repairs (by an outside body shop) had been excellently done. Other scratches and rub marks were left untouched and the interior remained filthy, with multiple air fresheners tossed under seats. The windshield and outside mirrors were actually messier than before. After I returned home and started cleaning things, I had difficulty opening the hood, found everything under a layer of dust and that the washer bottle was empty. After detailing the car myself, I've got myself a nice car but I would have expected it to be prepped before putting it on the lot (particularly when listed as CPO). More
