2000 Maxima has transmission problem, slips when going from 1st to 2nd. Has not always done that, started doing it after 35,000 miles. Taken car several times to dealer. Dealer first claimed that they cou from 1st to 2nd. Has not always done that, started doing it after 35,000 miles. Taken car several times to dealer. Dealer first claimed that they couldn't duplicate problem. When problem was detected on test drive, dealer claimed the problem was normal. The problem is obviously not normal, because it didn't occur when car was new, nor in any other car I have ever owned. Car is now over 60,000 warranty. On last visit the dealer manager who was new, reviewed the previous service calls and took an interest in fixing this problem. We have the car in and they are doing some adjustments. Dealer now indicates they will work with us to see problem resolved. We are keeping a hopeful, open mind on this and will update this review once these actions are complete and we can see if the problem is fixed. More
The people in the parts department are always a great bunch. There is one gentlemen I see most often early in the mornings, (I'm not sure if that's Larry the parts manager). It s been many years since I have serviced my vechilce at this dealership due to a terrible experience in the past .I was pleasantly surprised with the change in the service dept and extremly impressed that this dealership due to a terrible experience in the past .I was pleasantly surprised with the change in the service dept and extremly impressed that the the manager Mr.Sardella had taken the time to explain the details of my repair in a way I could understand, making the whole experience actually pleasant. The rest of the staff was as professional as their manager making me regain my faith in this dealership.Its refreshing to see "customer service" in action instead of just words on a sign. More
