Hi, I can appreciate your situation and how you feel. I am truly very sorry that you felt a certain way about how I responded to you. Now, let's state some true facts about what transpired. You sent in multiple inquires. Every single inquiry was responded to professionally and favorably towards your needs. Your situation was a complicated one that needed communication that was beyond just talking through email. You were over mileage on your lease. You wanted to know about how many payments can be waived since you had more payments left than the pull ahead payments program allowed for. I wanted to work this deal for you and give you everything that you needed. In fact, I personally called you on a Saturday to discuss your needs over the phone in a 5 minute conversation. I do not know if you can recall but you were not even willing to give me 5 simple minutes on the phone. I respect that you have two children at home, that you are busy with school part time and how you have an incredible score (which you reminded me of multiple times). I wanted to get everything done for you with 1 simple phone conversation. Again, you would not give me 5 minutes of your time and continued to send in multiple inquiries. You then told me that my store is the only store that has the Nissan Maxima that you wanted and another dealer promised to swap it in for you. I informed you that we will not be swapping the vehicle out. At that point you took offense because you did not get what you want. You even went as far as to call me a child and insult me. You then promised to write this bad review of me. I wished you nothing but the best as I realized that conducting a business transaction with you would not happen nor would it be a good decision between yourself and us. I am glad that you were able to find a vehicle and get everything that you needed. Surprisingly you wanted a Maxima and ended up with a Rogue. For the record I am doing this for 15 years, sold tens of thousands of vehicle and have always had the best customer satisfaction. So once again I apologize for your experience and I want to wish you nothing but the very best. Thank you for giving me a chance to earn your business. Sincerely, Stan Sher eCommerce and Guest Relations Director Nissan of Stanhope (973)347-2200

Dear Stan, I was taking care of my two small children when you called me and couldn't speak and I asked that you email me, which you did not. This is why I sent another inquiry. I shouldn't have had to send several inquiries and I did not get a response to my questions each time I sent an inquiry. You only stated you would not swap out the maxima after I told you I would not do business with you which is being vindictive and childish. The bottom line is you wanted me to come in and put your needs above that of your customer. Perhaps you've been selling cars for 15 years but that doesn't mean you're any good at it. I've been leasing cars for over 10 years and have dealt with my share of managers like you who are arrogant and think they are sitting on something special. Well buddy, let me tell you, your cars are found everywhere. Good luck with your career. I won't be coming to your dealership anytime soon. It was better when it was owned by Lynnes. Also, I could have easily purchased a Maxima but chose to get a Rogue because it had a better lease program, had you taken the time to speak to me via email like the other Nissan dealer perhaps you could have made the sale. But, you blew it and managed to spoil your dealership's reputation in the process.

By the way, when you called my 8mo old son was very sick so that's another reason I couldn't speak. You sounded mildly offended when I asked you to email me of which you failed to do until I IM'd your customer service rep and then you emailed me in a very rude tone. Also, if you listen to what you are saying it's pretty absurd; you claim you needed to have a 5-minute conversation with me to go over what was needed for the deal but you couldn't email those questions to me. It makes zero sense. You just wanted to do business on your terms and control the sale which, hey, I can appreciate but don't make me the bad guy for calling you out for being selfish and unprofessional. I told you I wished to communicate via email, you decided to ignore me, I tried to give you money and you refused. Your loss. I dealt with Nissan of Denville who was able to work with me via email and I walked in, signed papers, and left with a car. Which is what I gave you the opportunity for first and you decided I wasn't worth your time.
