Overall it was a nice experience. Our salesman, Edwin, was helpful, especially in helping us figure out a tricky programming setup on a Rogue we were considering. Ultimately, however, we weren't able to get together on numbers and that's where you perhaps have to watch it here as in many dealerships, especially in NJ. The numbers quickly become scrambled in a kind of numerical shell game as they go up on the amount they will take on your trade, even though the price for the vehicle is still thousands over the sticker price. Also, as in most dealerships in New Jersey, there was a fairly hefty add-on dealer fee, though their's wasn't outrageous, especially in comparison with Route 23 Nissan. Interestingly enough, such dealer fees are unlawful in Pennsylvania and that makes negotiations there simpler and less complicated. We eventually bought our vehicle in Easton where the numbers were straightforward. Bottom line is that you must just keep your eye on the bottom line - what you want to pay above your trade in, without getting distracted with fluctuations in the lines above it during negotiation. After negotiation the dealer came close to the price we were willing to pay, but think we did better in Easton. Friendly people though, and perhaps you can work out a good deal with them if you watch the bottom line in the negotiations. They have an excellent selection compared to most other dealers we visited, who have slim pickings because of Covid-19 and the chip shortage. More

Terrible experience today with the service department. I called Thursday to schedule the routine oil maintenance and was told my appointment for today was 9am. We pull in at 8:45 and are told the appointme called Thursday to schedule the routine oil maintenance and was told my appointment for today was 9am. We pull in at 8:45 and are told the appointment is 9:30. So I tell them let me know what needs to get done. I ask what time they close which he responded 5 and I stated I may pick up the Rogue later by 4 or 4:30. I get a call from the service department stating at 12 pm that the car needs cabin filter and transmission oil change as well. We have a few words and ask to hold off on the additional services and just finish the oil change. The young man states we will get it done in 2 hours. I stayed this is awful customer service since I have been taking the vehicle for the past 2 years and never waited more than an hour. They assumed that since I stated that I would be there to pickup the car around 4 that they can delay the repairs until later. I stated that this will be the last vehicle I will be getting at Nissan Rte 10 and no longer will be doing business there…his reply fine and hung up. 2 minutes later The service manager calls me to apologize for the issue and they will get the car done soon. Not 10 minutes goes by and I get a call that the car is ready. So sad that they can say and do one thing then when you are fed up and leave they get it done. Shame More
