Went to the dealership to test drive a Nissan Rogue and ended up leaving with an 06 Nissan Altima. The sales person Washington was fantastic he knew when to stop being pushy which was good. Now comes his b ended up leaving with an 06 Nissan Altima. The sales person Washington was fantastic he knew when to stop being pushy which was good. Now comes his boss I cant remember his name but he was a real jack***. He is the most pushy and irrogant manager I have ever met. He said to me that if I dont get a new car TODAY then the value of my trade will be going down faster. I wanted to think about it but he wouldnt give me my car keys till I decided on what car I wanted. I will only go back to this dealership for Washington, if anyone wants a Nissan see Washington and say Chris sent me, he will give you a great deal on a car. More
My girlfriend and I were visiting the local dealerships to see what used vehicles they had to offer. We ask the sales rep what the price and mileage was on a vehicle on their lot and he evaded our inquiry to see what used vehicles they had to offer. I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav 4 for a 2008 Rogue. Since the make and model I wanted was not available and today is Saturd I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav 4 for a 2008 Rogue. Since the make and model I wanted was not available and today is Saturday, I was told they would give me a rental car until the car could be delivered in a few days. I waited for almost an hour for the rental, which was supposedly coming from Enterprise Rental Company in Denville. The person who came to Denville Nissan said to my sales representative that I had to go with him to the actual rental agency to fill out the paperwork. I found this to be odd. When I saw the appearance of the man who was to drive me there, I asked for some form of identification from the Enterprise rental agency. He said he was the person who washed cars and did not have identification. My sales representative offered to give me a ride to the rental agency. Again, I thought having to leave the dealership in the first place was unusual. The sales manager and I drove to the car rental agency. When we arrived at Enterprise car rental agency, all the doors were locked and no one was to be found. I waited as the sales representative walked around the building and could not find anyone to assist me. My sales representative tried very hard to find someone but to no avail. At this point, I began to get nervous about this situation and contacted the financial manager about the situation. He said to tell the sales manager to return to the dealership and they would give me a loaner car from the dealership. I thought this would have been a much better solution in the first place. I was told this situation with Enterprise Rental Agency has never happened before, however, since this was my first experience at Denville Nissan, I am not sure if that is true. My personal safety was compromised at this dealership and with their relationship with the car rental agency. I was shocked this dealership allowed me to leave in the first place for a rental car. I will not return to this dealership again nor will I recommend it, since this was the worst car purchase experience I have ever had. More
These guys had my car for over 10 weeks due to first a recall, and then starting problems. They fixed the recall for free but then afterwards, the car wouldn't start reliably. They charged me 3000$ worth recall, and then starting problems. They fixed the recall for free but then afterwards, the car wouldn't start reliably. They charged me 3000$ worth of parts and labor and held my car for over 10 weeks, never called me during this time (i had to continually call them), when I went to pickup the car I noticed a huge new dent in the car, which they had to then fix (taking another 4 days). Finally the next day after I finally got the car, it didn't start! I took it to a local mechanic who fixed the problem (defective security chip in my key!) for a few hundred dollars. Denville Nissan are crooks. More

I purchased my exterra from Denvill Nissan about 2 years ago, and feel that i was scamed. I came to the dealer in January to buy a a new Exterra, knowing that the new model was coming out, however when I a ago, and feel that i was scamed. I came to the dealer in January to buy a a new Exterra, knowing that the new model was coming out, however when I asked the sales person whether the new model was going to be any different from the older model he reasurred me that the only thing different would be the horse power (I swear i must have asked him at least 5 times).......What a liethat was! 3 months later when I came to get my oil changed I noticed that the Exterrra they had in the showroom was much bigger than the one I had! When I approched my sales person and asked him why the car was bigger? he simply stated: "well it is the new model" (not remembering that he was the one who sold me my car 3 months before) So I reminded him of the time when i had purchased my car from him and the fact that he said no body changes were going to be made to the new model other than the horse power, his response was: " does it matter? you would have paid a lot more money, so I saved you about 6 grand" I was so upset with his response, because that was my choice not his and it is the principal of the matter! I was shocked by his dishonesty and I swore I would never come back to do any buisness with them ever. In addition to this the store manager offered my free floor mats if I returned my consumer survey (the one that Nissan sends you in the mail, un-filled) What a joke! Stay way from these people they will scam you out of your money! Now I am stuck with an older model that will be much harder to sell in the near future. My advice to you is do all your reasarch (go to Edmunds.com) and go prapared, because they will take advantage of you if they can. Good luck, I wish I had some when I purchased my car. More
In purchasing my 2002 Nissan Altima we dealt with the manager and a salesman (I don't remember his name). We knew somebody who worked in the car business for many years at a different dealership (not Ni manager and a salesman (I don't remember his name). We knew somebody who worked in the car business for many years at a different dealership (not Nissan), he made a phone call to us to the manager of this dealership to help and try to get us a good deal, it turns out that they worked with many of the same people and have heard of eachother, so this guy promised that he would give us the best possible deal. Well trusting this guy, we ended up leasing the car, the payment did seem to high and we questioned him and he assured us that we could not pay any less for the car anywhere else because this was the new model and they can't really negotiate with us. It turns out that they completely ripped us off and we are now stuck in a lease paying almost $100 more a month than we should be. I urge anybody even thinking about setting foot in this dealership to run the other way. More
