Be highly suspect of the numbers, we agreed on a purchase price and trade in price with the sales person, then when we got into the back room the finance guy is using different numbers and won't say what the price and trade in price with the sales person, then when we got into the back room the finance guy is using different numbers and won't say what they are and keeps repeating he doesn't know why the math is not working and kept tapping away on the calculator. He would not tell us what numbers he was using to get the payments. When we went to leave the manager came in and belted out numbers then rudely asked if we were going to buy the car, after a while he got within a couple of hundred dollars to the number we agreed with the salesman but still could not explain why the difference. They got mad when we asked to see the breakdown and we left. Shifty, shady stuff going on left a bad taste in our mouth and we will not be back. The salesman was nice, but could not make up for the feeling of being lied to. More

Normally I have been pressured into buying a car I did not want or I was told that what I wanted isn’t available. Credit must go to the salesman in that scenario but customer retention wont. Luckily I was approached by Jared when I entered Nielsen and he changed my point of view on buying a car. We had some ups and downs in terms of finding a vehicle that was right for me. In the end he was clutch and found the car that makes me smile every time I look at it. A salesman should try and solve problems for their customers, develop a rapport with their customer, and not leave the customer feeling negative about the experience.
