Despite another employee not being at all friendly or helpful which caused us to walk out originally without purchasing the vehicle, Peter call us the next day to offer us another chance to purchase the Van we wanted. Horrible Service, even worse follow up! Horrible! I took my car in for a recall on a Monday 8/25 9am. The dealership was aware my car was coming in. My car would not come out of gear (out Horrible! I took my car in for a recall on a Monday 8/25 9am. The dealership was aware my car was coming in. My car would not come out of gear (out of park). The piece that needed to be replaced estimates to take 15 minutes to install. They did not finish on Monday, and needed to keep it for another day. No complimentary car was provided. I received a call from the dealer saying they fixed the recall but my car still did not go into gear and it would cost me $360 to fix an additional problem. I decided to let them know I was taking the car with me and not to fix the other problem. I asked how much the part was and it was only $114. About 20 minutes later the dealer called me back and miraculously were able to get my car out of park. When I went to pick up my car, everything from my center console was displaced on my passenger seat. There were scratches from where they tried to remove my shift panel. And all pieces of my car were not put back together. My cigarette lighter did not work. My brother had to remove everything because THEY DID NOT PLUG IT IN! OVERALL HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would not recommend to anyone. Just because I am not paying labor, should not mean that treat the car like crap. In addition, it has been almost a month and I still do not have a resolution as to why my car was returned to be in that condition. I am not looking for anything for free. I just find it appalling that no one at the dealership has taken accountability for their actions, nor to they care to get back to me in a timely manner. As of today, 9/21 I still do not have a clear resolution as to why my car was returned in the manner it was....it has been almost a month. 8/26- received car back in horrible condition 8/27- Spoke to service Manager Manny and he said he would look into 8/28- Left message for Manny (10am) 8/29- No answer from Manny- he was assisting a customer (10am) 8/29- Left message for Manny (11:39am) 8/30- No answer (2:40pm) 9/2- Tried to call but no answer (10:20am) 9/2- Left message for Manny (3:27pm) 9/5- Left message for Manny (4:21pm) 9/8- Spoke to Bruce at the dealership, he said Manny has gotten all of my messages but has not had the chance to speak to the zoning manager on duty at the time my car was in. Bruce said Manny would get back to me by Wednesday 9/10 9/16- After not hearing from Manny the previous week as promised, I left yet another message 9/16- Service Manager Manny finally responded to all of my calls and said he was still looking into. I have posted photos on Yelp and the dealer's Facebook page so others can see the poor service. More

After my purchase experience, I would have to be added to the list of most sat On the internet I had read great reviews about the Nielsen dealership. After my purchase experience, I would have to be added to the list of most satisfied customers. I was referred to Chris Damon and met with him on Saturday, September 13, 2014. We reviewed all the available Grand Cherokees and Chris was most patient and thorough in going over all the details and options that were available to me. He was most helpful in helping me arrive at a vehicle and a price that was right for me. At no time was there any pressure during the whole selection and negotiation process. I was pleased with the experience when I left on Saturday, confident that I had made the right choice and that the price was right. When I picked up the Grand Cherokee on Wednesday (9/17) Chris went over every detail of the car and the options with which it is equipped. The best part of the whole process is the feeling that Chris is a representative who will be there, available at Nielsen, not just to sell a vehicle but to support the sale and the customer long after the car leaves the showroom. I would reccommend the Nielsen dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle and, more specifically, I would highly endorse Chris Damon to any of my friends and family who are in the search for a new car.
