They don't fix issues that are under recall I bought a 2014 Malibu brand new from Alexander Dickson. The purchase part was so easy and I was super excited........at first. Their service department has to be the most inept bunch of people I have ever seen. I have had transmission issues, idle issues and several other issues from day one and have had to fight for each one to be repaired. I shouldn't have to fight to get my car fixed! There was a recall on the HVAC and they say it got taken care of but I have had this car since day one and it has not. If they don't hear from you they just close it out as complete instead of letting you know. I had no idea there was a recall until there was an issue and I looked it up online. Now I have a HVAC that does not work and they want to charge me $100 bucks to find out why. If I were a man this wouldn't be happening. DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM ALEXANDER!!! HUGE MISTAKE, HUGE!! More
Garbage Purchased 2013 Ford Fusion on 10/15/16. Dealt with Corey and Jamie, customer service was impeccable initially. We picked up car on 10/16/16, issue wit Purchased 2013 Ford Fusion on 10/15/16. Dealt with Corey and Jamie, customer service was impeccable initially. We picked up car on 10/16/16, issue with AC and check engine light on came on the same day. We got in contact with our salesman, Corey, who assured us it would be taken care of. We came to dealership on 10/17/16, they fixed minor AC issue free of charge. As for check engine light issue, we were told to have it fixed at Ford dealership and were assured by Jamie and Corey it would be free of charge as well. This turned out to be untrue, the repair cost is $273. Their response was that it’s a good thing we bought their warranty. Turns out, the warranty does not kick in until 30 days later, which they failed to mention. Regardless, this is unacceptable. We were assured that there was nothing wrong with this car and that a mechanic inspected it prior to purchase. Within a few hours of owning it, we now have to pay out of pocket for something that should have been fixed by the dealership. Or at the very least, mentioned to us prior to the purchase. Not only is this a monetary loss, but also loss of time and energy to deal with this issue. The dealership was able to turn off the check engine light when we came to get it fixed, we are convinced they did the same prior to the test drive to ensure we would not know this issue existed. Even Ford dealership mentioned this is probably the case. Alexander GMC Buick should be responsible for paying for the repair of this issue since the bulletin has been out since 2013 and this issue arises within one day of owning this car. Our call to file a complaint with the dealership was never returned. To add on, they misspelled my name on the registration, which is another hassle I now have to deal with getting it fixed. Extremely sloppy and careless on their part, since they have SO much paperwork with the correct spelling. HORRIBLE customer service and experience. This could have been solved quickly and efficiently on their part, but instead, has turned into a huge headache for our family. Would NEVER recommend and will be posting our experience on social media as well to warn others. More

We never thought that day we would leave with a BRAND NEW vehicle, but with the professionalism showed by Marty Hamm we did. He made us feel comfortable in the showroom and he showed us around and guided us through the options we had, since we needed a 3rd-row vehicle. I must say that this was our best car shopping experience ever. We never once did he make us feel pressured into purchasing a new vehicle. Marty was very informative and answered every question of ours patiently and thoroughly. Nowadays, it's commonly seen that car salesmen just don’t do enough and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesman like Marty delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience. We will forever be an Alexander Chevrolet Customer. I was never pressured in any way to purchase a car and after purchasing a beautiful enclave and deciding I wanted to go back to a Tahoe, they made my transition seamless. Allan and Marty made my experience easy, they were patient and they were efficient. In fact, everyone I dealt with were consummate professionals. They listened to my interests, had answers to the multitude of questions I raised and were willing to go the extra mile to accommodate me at every turn during the transaction. I don't ever take the time to post a review, but felt compelled to do so in this case. They removed the stigma I may have had of dreading the car buying process. As such, I will definitely use Alexander Chevrolet Buick for my future needs and will be referring friends and family! More

Poor service department Brought car in for oil change. Last oil change from alexander the tech tighten oil filter to tight and started leaking oil. When I brought it in to be fixed by another oil change (still had 3000 miles before the next oil change) Stephen said you can't tighten oil filter to tight. Not a dumb female. Took to another certified dealership for oil change because Stephen said would be 4 hours for change. I had appt. Because husband called and set it up. Would be charged for new oil change. It was their fault I had this problem to start with. Stephen treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. No friendly service. I was disappointed in your care of your customers. Never again will I go to alexander for service. Will think twice about buying another car from them. To many other places to buy a car and get better service. More
