I must admit that I had no plan to actually buy a car on the day I went to Nexcar to try and win the prize. When the salesman asked me if I was interested in making a purchase, I replied, "Not really, but i the day I went to Nexcar to try and win the prize. When the salesman asked me if I was interested in making a purchase, I replied, "Not really, but if you can put me in a car so that my payments are the same or less than I'm already paying, with money coming out of my pocket, I might", and I did not believe that would happen. I'd been paying almost $260 a month for the car I was currently driving-a Chevy Aveo, 5-speed, hand-crank windows that I'd bought new in 2007. The salesman told me to go ahead and take a look to see if there was anything I was interested in, that he thought he could work something out. Like everyone else, I like to look at cars, so I did. I test-drove a couple of cars, and decided that I liked this '08 Mitsubishi Endeavor. However, who goes from an Aveo to an Endeavor without a huge increase in the monthly payment? No one, that's who. However, after all was said and done, I drove my 'new' Endeavor home, with an increase of only about $50. Not bad, right? The man who originally sold me my car is no longer there--and I wish I remembered his name, as he was great--but Dan Collins has taken over my account, and he is a pleasure to work with. Always friendly, and never seems put out if I show up to have a bulb changed or get a replacement part. He returns my calls promptly, and works quickly to make sure my question or issue is taken care of. I am quite pleased with my experience with Nexcar, and I would most definitely recommend Mr. Collins to anyone looking to purchase a car. More
