We have purchased 3 cars from New Smyrna Chrysler (2 from Tom). The sales department was really great. Friendly, professional and even went the extra mile to find the exact PT I wanted even though it was no Tom). The sales department was really great. Friendly, professional and even went the extra mile to find the exact PT I wanted even though it was not in their inventory. My last car is a Dodge Journey and Tom even helped me get a GPS installed. Obviously we are completely satisfied with New Smyrna Chrysler or we would not have purchased additional cars from this dealer. I have had experience with automobile dealers most of my life as my Father was an automobile dealer who sold Willys, Hudsons and Chryslers. Another reason for purchasing an automobile there is the service department. As a woman I have had the misfortune of dealing with auto service departments who obviously considered the female gender as DUMB and Gullible. I am not either, so it was and is a pleasure to take my car to New Smyrna Chrysler for routine service or problems. Most of the time I have dealt with Tom who is always professional, friendly, knowledgeable and dependable. I am always told what is being done and how long it will take. The service is always done on time, usually earlier than expected. When I have dealt with others in the service department including Barb they have always been friendly and helpful. I always recommend New Smyrna Chrysler to anyone I can. The Dealership is great in all the departments. More
It must have been years since I was treated that nice and professionally at a dealership. Finally a car place that understands single women and does not try to take advantage of them. Courtesy, professionali professionally at a dealership. Finally a car place that understands single women and does not try to take advantage of them. Courtesy, professionalism, no high pressure sales tactics, it is about time quality dealerships become the norm. I was still skeptical when I first drove to New Smyrna Chryler Jeep Dodge, but from the minute I was greeted, through the process of the sale and until the end, I could not believe how nice everybody was and how smooth everything went. From the get go I got this "feel good" sensation, and it got better as it went on. Maybe the fact that they had to emerge from a corporate bankrupcy changed their attitude towards valued customers. They need us more than we need them, you know. The purchase of a new car does not have to be as awful as a root canal. (I used to think that way). The new car manager, Afredo, played a big part in making this deal happen. He was understanding and helpful, atypical of a "car salesman", and my actual salesman Chris, gave me hope and a renewed faith in an industry that once failed me. I am extremely pleased with the whole process, I love my new car and would send my friends and family even if they did not pay a referral. We need more dealers like this to give us the confidence to buy again and help this economy recover quickly. New Smyrna stepped up to the plate big time, I wonder if the other local dealers will take notice? We will wait and see. More
