I had my 2005 Chrysler Sebring in for service. No codes on computer indicating cause of trouble. John the service tech spent numerous hours literally looking for a needle in a haystack. The sevice advisor was great and took my car in without an appointment. He also kept me well informed on the status of my vehicle. Both of these individuals were very friendly and deserve alot of credit for a job well done. Also I would like to mention the service manager spent many hours road testing my car to try to troubleshoot the problem. All of these employees were great and deserve a special thanks for a job well done. I see why this dealership is a 5 star rating. Everyone is GREAT. I will surely recommend this dealership to everyone I know and I would not hesitate to purchase my next vehicle from them. Super guys to do business with. David was a wonderful salesman. We have dealt with him before and that is why we came back to him. He is patient, answers all questions and works really hard to satisfy the customer. Did not try the hard sell techniques and got us the payment we wanted. Awesome! More
Due to a recent hail storm, there was a very limited supply of quality used vehicles in my area. So I started searching for vehicles in other towns using the Internet. I found a used van that the Ne supply of quality used vehicles in my area. So I started searching for vehicles in other towns using the Internet. I found a used van that the New Smyrna dealership had listed on the Internet, along with their free CarFax report, as well as plenty of information and pictures of the vehicle. Jan was very friendly and helpful with all of my questions throughout the entire purchasing process. I bought the vehicle from out of state based on the dealership's good ratings. I sent in all of the paperwork and the check via overnight courier. I flew into the Sanford apirport, and Jan met me there with the vehicle, and had a very uneventful 11 hour drive back home. The CarFax report had showed a recall brake item that hadn't been fixed, so when I got home, I had the local dealer do the recall repairs and also perform a full inspection. The only thing they found wrong was a blown out bulb, which cost me $4.95. I was very pleased with the quality of the used vehicle and the clean bill of health delivered by the mechanic. The one negative of the entire buying process is that Kevin Waitt, the sales manager, said the dealership had a policy that they would no longer take deposits for vehicle purchases. I had spent many hours searching ad listings on the Internet before I found the vehicle, and I was going to be paying for the vehicle in full with a check from my bank. I had enough money for the vehicle, but I had to transfer it from a savings account that would take 2 business days, and then it would take another business day to overnight them the check. This was over a holiday weekend, so it would have been the next Wednesday before they would have received the check. I offered to put any amount down as a deposit using my credit card, but they wouldn't allow it. This was extremely frustrating, because I needed to book a one-way airfare ticket, and be guaranteed that the vehicle would still be available when I arrived. I ended up having to sign their loan documents to get approved for a loan, just to secure the vehicle. Because I wrote in some corrections on the loan documents, they had to overnight me a second set, and by that time I was able to just overnight them a check, which is what I wanted to do in the first place. This part of the purchasing process was completely unecessary, and very frustrating. I was willing to put down $1,000 deposit and even lose the deposit after a week if I didn't go through with the purchase. They would have gotten all 5 stars from me had it not been for this issue. The experience here was great!!!! My sales man chase came in on his day off just to welcome me and help me through the process. I was waiting for the new 2011 Chrysler 300C to arrive to the dealerships but the new cars just could not make it before my lease of my previous car was about to end. Instead of any more waiting for the 2011 300C I started to look for one from 2010. I was lucky and found the perfect new 2010 300C loaded with everything in this dealership with assistance from Skip. This was my 6th car that I am buying/ leasing and I never had the opportunity to interact with anybody who could possible measure up to Mr. Skip Sage in terms of expertise, professionalism, and maturity. Although I received a favorable offer that was a good start but what really solidified the sale was how he handled this deal. As travelling from 200 miles away, I could not make it before closing due to traffic. Skip made arrangements for me to be able to look at the car even after hours which was appreciated. Everything was done the way it was agreed upon. The whole deal was transparent, with honest and polite communication throughout the negotiations. Most of this was accomplished via phone and email, therefore when I arrived at the dealership the next day, all that I had to do was signing papers. Skip had a day off that day but he drove back to the dealership to finish everything in person. Financing the car was not an issue, the terms were available by the time we came back from the test drive. I received a better rate than what I was pre-approved for by another bank. Tom and Skip proved that associates at this dealership are not only knowledgeable professionals but also decent and honest people who made car buying a pleasurable experience. All this took place from 19:45 to 20:35 and I was driving away in my new car within less than an hour after arriving to the New Smyrna Chrysler Dealership. When it is going to be time for me to buy my next car, I will contact Skip first instead of trying to deal with anybody else in Tampa and I will not hesitate to drive to New Smyrna again. More
First of all, I typically do not enjoy the car buying experience. However, the experience at New Smyrna Chrysler, through Tom Nicholson, was an exception. I searched the web for the specific truck I was interested in for my son. After going through many other dealers who were either a turn off or did not get back to me when they said they would, I contacted Tom at New Smyrna Chrysler about a 2010 used vehicle they had on their lot. Tom was a complete professional and made the car buying experience a pleasure. He responded quickly and was able to answer all my questions. At one point when Tom was not in, I talked to the sales manager who was equally as pleasant to work with. When I came to test drive and finally purchase the truck I dealt with a Sales Manager / Finance Manager who again exhibited the same professionalism and courtesy and again made this car buying experience a pleasure. Some dealership try to deliver this type of professionalism and courtesy, but it comes off as pretentious. The guys at New Smyrna Chrysler are the real deal and a true pleasure to work with. Even though I am from out of town, I will certainly refer Tom and the entire New Smyrna team to my friends. Thank you, Larry Harris More

Wanting to purchase a vehicle smaller and easier to handle for my wife, we didn't know what direction to pursue. Chuck Sylvester worked with us during two visits to the agency and through our selections, comments, and dialougue of what we were looking for, found us exactly what we needed.
