My daughter was upside down in a Dodge Challenger and having to drive more miles to work. The price of gas was killing her and us! We have dealt with Mike Fernandez in the past so we gave him a call ex having to drive more miles to work. The price of gas was killing her and us! We have dealt with Mike Fernandez in the past so we gave him a call explaining that she needed more economical , safe, dependable transportation and that she couldn't afford a larger payment than she had and could not pay any additional down. We started working on this 6/17/12 at 2pm with Mike and James Kobylanski and our daughter drove her new Jeep Patriot home at 8pm the same day. While my daughter was at work between 4&7pm, James came to the house and had me sign my part of the papers so that my daughter could stop by after work, sign her part and bring it home! And, for the same payment! Is that customer service or what!!! They took excellent care of us and we would like to extend our appreciation & thanks for everything to Mike Fernandez, James Kobylanski and New Smyrna Chrtsler, Jeep Dodge! More

My family and I have been coming to this dealership for more than 15 years and have collectively purchased a dozen vehicles here so naturally I returned two weeks ago when I was in the market again for a v more than 15 years and have collectively purchased a dozen vehicles here so naturally I returned two weeks ago when I was in the market again for a vehicle. However, this purchase resulted in the worst car buying experience I have had and has effectively cost this dealership any future business from myself or any of my family members. I would like to state that this negative rating is solely based on the performance of the sales manager Mark Ogden. Our salesman Brad Gifford was great and so was Tom Bellini in the finance office. I had wonderful individual experiences with both Tom and Brad and have no complaints with them and would even recommend them to others provided they visit on a day when Mark is not the sales manager on duty. Mark was rude, made personal insults, and fully embodied the underhanded salesman persona that has come to be the stereotype associated with the business. I was very clear and specific when I went in regarding what vehicle I wanted to purchase and what it would take in order for me to make the purchase that night. I had done my researching ahead of time and I did not want to go through the typical haggling to arrive at an agreement and so I stated up front what I would agree to and what I would not and expected a relatively swift negotiation process. However, Mark took the process out of my salesman's hands and led me in hours of loathsome back and forth negotiations during which he made personal insults and continued pushing papers at me asking what it would take to close the deal despite me stating several times exactly what it would take. Several times during this process I began to pack my things to leave because I was exasperated with the way he was handling me and I didn't want to give him my business. I stayed, however, because I did not want my salesman Brad to lose the deal due to Mark's incompetence. After it was all done and the deal signed, a vehicle was to be brought in the next day that was to match the vehicle on their lot that I walked in asking for but with ONE specific alteration. I asked for the documentation on the vehicle to bring home to review in detail and when I did so, I found that the vehicle was not the vehicle I had agreed to purchase. It was missing a major feature that should have been mentioned during the negotiation but was not. I called my salesman the next morning to inform him of what I discovered and he said we'd work something out when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. I truly believe my salesman had every intention of making it right when it was taken out of his hands again by Mark despite me asking specifically not to have to interact with him again. I was placed in another salesman's office when I arrived under the guise that they were playing musical offices that day (my salesman's actual office was empty) when clearly I was being placed there by the management in order to be watched and listened to as I had made them aware ahead of time that I discovered the ruse. After asking for one of two resolutions (either replace the car with the one I asked for or refund me for the missing feature), I was forced into another lengthy and unnecessary negotiation process with Mark during which he first claimed he didn't know about the missing feature, then claimed the missing feature was why he was able to give me the deal he did (which would not be possible if he in fact did not know about the missing feature as he claimed at first), then claimed that he went over line for line the vehicle specs and it was my fault this had happened when he neither went over line for line nor stated outright that the feature was not present. I'm truly astounded that I was even made to ask for and fight for this to be made right. I even had to negotiate the amount to be refunded for the missing feature during which Mark again attempted deception. I was asking to void the deal just to be finished with Mark when the phone rang and the owner told Mark to end the negotiation. I believe this was too conveniently timed for it to be a coincidence and find it especially insulting to have been made to endure this at all. Again, I lasted the length I did out of consideration for my salesman who attempted to do everything right and shouldn't have had to suffer the repercussions for a deal that was taken out of his control. Last night, two weeks later, I traded the vehicle in at another dealership and bought another new and very much upgraded model of the vehicle I bought in NSB. I'm thrilled with the new car and new dealership (Gator Chrysler in Melbourne, FL). I would have been happy with the vehicle I bought in NSB if I didn't feel I was dealt with dishonestly and unethically. I would have upgraded at NSB as well if I felt the dealership operated in an upright manner and didn't allow practices such as I was subjected to to occur. They could have easily earned my repeat business by making this right without my having to first point it out, ask for, and then fight for it. More

I was going to order a 2012 Dodge Durango R/T AWD, but first I put it out for a bid process. New Smyrna Dodge produced the second lowest number of ALL the Dodge dealerships in a 60 mile radius of DeLand, first I put it out for a bid process. New Smyrna Dodge produced the second lowest number of ALL the Dodge dealerships in a 60 mile radius of DeLand, FL. Another dealer was the lowest (only by $150.), but they were very rude!! It took about 6 weeks after I placed the order, but it was sooo worth the wait. I can’t say enough about my purchase from New Smyrna Dodge. I know this is hard to believe, but it was a real pleasure doing business with Kevin Wait & Skip Sage. And what a great ride the Durango R/T is... More
New Smyrna Beach Chrysler Jeep Dodge I bought a new Citadel Durango 2011 and on delivery they did not have the factory DVD installed but encouraged us to take it anyway and they would install it later Citadel Durango 2011 and on delivery they did not have the factory DVD installed but encouraged us to take it anyway and they would install it later in the week. 1 week turned to 2 I had to keep calling to see when it would be in to get the work done. When I finally was called to bring it in they installed a much cheaper style that looked like it was from Walmart not the high end one in the showroom model. The finance manager was rude and unprofessional telling me the factory one is not available. I called several other dealerships it certainly can be ordered for 1295.00 plus installment you just have to order it. No one at the dealership could help solve this problem and no one offered to call anyone in charge because that finance guy certainly didn't know what he was talking about or was just plain lying. So the Durango is just sitting at the service dept because it is not what I ordered and I feel I was tricked into taking it off the lot like it was instead of what I ordered. More
