Sales Mgr cannot be trusted, dishonest, doesn't keep word I have bought five Challengers (from SRTs to the Demon) since 2008, all from a dealership in NC before moving to FL earlier this year. Knowing I coul I have bought five Challengers (from SRTs to the Demon) since 2008, all from a dealership in NC before moving to FL earlier this year. Knowing I could buy the 2019 Widebody Hellcat from my previous dealer for “invoice minus half the holdback”, I called NSB CJD about noon time to ask if they were interested in selling a Hellcat for that price. I stated I wanted to make sure before getting a Hellcat to consider as a trade-in before taking the car out of storage and putting miles on the car driving to the dealership. The salesperson didn’t know, so he put me on hold to ask the manager and came back on the phone and said the manager said they could sell the Hellcat for that price. So, I took a few hours off work, got the trade-in car out of storage and drove to NSB CJD. Long story short, the price was $1k over the agreed upon price. Of course, the salesperson said, “well what would it take to get you to order it today.” I stated honoring your word the first time is all that it would have taken for me to have ordered the car. Realizing this dealership cannot be taken at their word, I quickly left the dealership. Incidentally, the offer on the used car was $1K under book trade-in AND they added $899 document fee, WHAT, how do they find people so gullible to pay these fees. I read these reviews and not one person I saw commented on these fees. I'll buy in NC and have the car shipped enclosed for less than the doc fee and have salesmen who you can trust with their word.
