I am a previous Celica, Supra, and T-100 owner, and presently own a Tacoma and Lexus 330. Until recently, I have had relatively positive experiences with these from various dealerships over the past 2 presently own a Tacoma and Lexus 330. Until recently, I have had relatively positive experiences with these from various dealerships over the past 20 years or so. This is an ongoing story about my truck and New Rochelle Toyota. Let me start by saying I did not originally buy my Tacoma from this dealership, but when I moved into the area about three years ago, started using them for service visits (i.e. oil changes, tune-ups, etc.). I received notice from Toyota stating that my truck had a recall issue and that I should make an appointment with my local dealer to have the truck inspected and, if necessary, have the proper service to address the recall. I took the truck in and waited for the inspection, which I was told would take between 45 minutes and an hour. Nearly three and a half hours later I was pulled out of the customer waiting area and told in a hallway that my truck did need the service, but that the dealer was not: a) equipped to do the service (materials or equipment), b) did not have the training to do the service, c) was not licensed by NY state or by Toyota to do the service. I asked why this wasn't mentioned before I made my appointment and told that it was "procedure" to progress as we did. I was told that I would be put on a mailing list and notified when the service could be performed. That was nearly five months ago. After trying to contact the dealership on at least a monthly basis to find out the status, continually being told that there was no news, I learned last week the Service Manager for the dealership had left (or was asked to leave, I don't know which) and that no one knew about my situation. I was told I would once again have to schedule an inspection to determine if my problem really existed - apparently frame corrosion goes away on it's own. I learned this after numerous calls, over several days, to Service with no success in speaking with the new Service Manager, Chy Wiggan, or to a knowledgeable service agent. I spent nearly 90 minutes last Tuesday waiting in the Service Area of the dealership to speak with Mr. Wiggan, who apparently has been in a meeting for the past week or so, and ended up speaking with "Will" Paneto, the Assistant Service Manager about my situation. He said he was vaguely familiar with the recall and that my car had to be transported to a New Jersey location to have the service done; this would take a week to do. I asked when this would happen and he said he would let me know the next day. Two days later and no one has returned my calls. I don't know how much time I have spent trying to rectify a situation I did not create (directly or indirectly) but the count would be in days as opposed to hours. To make matters worse, I have had better success with this dealership than with Toyota Customer Experience or Toyota's Corporate Service Center - which is a story for another day. I received a call from Ms. La-Keisha Smith sometime in June, 2012. She informed me someone is very interested in my (2007) Avalon gold in color. Considering, I regularly maintained my vehicle as require June, 2012. She informed me someone is very interested in my (2007) Avalon gold in color. Considering, I regularly maintained my vehicle as required, had low mileage and one year left to have had the vehicle paid in full. Initially, I was apprehensive regarding the call, because the deal was unbelieveable. I turn my use car over and receive a new 2012 luxury black avalon. I scheduled an appointment to have the car serviced for oil change, then met with Ms. Smith and negotiating began. After several manager back and forth, we established a deal. My montly fee was reduced nearly $200.00 lower than my used vehicle. I lease the vehicle for 36 months and renegotiate on the next vehicle of my choice. Well, we came to a somewhat deal with the avalon, however I would have had to wait six weeks for the vehicle to come to the dealership. Therefore, I noticed the Highlander and asked if I can get the same deal? We test drove the highlander, I was most impressed with the navigation system and the LCD which I can view as I am parking and actually watch how close I am to the park vehcile. Also, its a seven passenger vehicle (which is great for my family). We established a great deal. Although, it took me over the weekend to come to this agreement through it all Ms. Smith was ver professional and did everything in her profession to work out a great deal for me. I am happy in my new vehicle and so is my family. Great job Ms. Smith!!! However, I believe his name is (Arty) defintely tell him to keep his day job. Leave the comical jokes for the professional. (: Very nice person and he defintely worked his magic thank you all! PS. I will say the teamship that you have now @ this location is phenomenal. Totally outweighs the team that was previously there in 2007. More

Mr. Daniel was a friendly, personable sales person. He made me feel that he was listening to my concerns. The car was ready at the time we both agreed to. The price was Okay I guess. Apparently there was no room for negotiation of price, monthly payment and allotted mileage. There was a problem with the information Geico needed. They needed to know whether the car is new and the odometer reading. When i would call the dealership to ask if they could fax Geico this information, I would be placed on hold then disconnected. Not fun. More
