We went to our local Toyota dealer in Johnstown NY, as we had seen a 2009 Barcelona red Venza and liked the looks, it was close to 5 on a Saturday and other than the test ride they had no interest in talking had seen a 2009 Barcelona red Venza and liked the looks, it was close to 5 on a Saturday and other than the test ride they had no interest in talking to us. Monday morning I went to the dealership with my wife’s 2009 Malibu 2LT, with 10100, miles on it to talk deal. First of all they appraised the Malibu, offering basically wholesale for it and not offering any reduction in the used Venza, although it only had 7800, miles on it. At no time did they offer or inquire as to try any other type of sale. The more I thought about it the more incensed I got, so on Tuesday morning I went on line and queried several dealers looking at a new 2011. The first dealership to respond in less than 10 minutes was New Country Toyota of Saratoga Springs, Internet Manager Erik Duffy, I eventually got info and as I had done the self-appraisal on line he came in exactly where I wanted to be for the cost, without ever seeing the car. On the next Saturday one week after seeing the first Venza we picked up our or should I say my wife’s new Venza from Erik Duffy at New Country of Saratoga. They were great as far as the Sales department and Michael the Sales manager met us at the door, seemed to be a great guy also. The deal didn’t end there my wife wanted remote start installed in her Venza, and again Erik was right there to assist us. I have seen some negative reviews for this dealer ship, but our experience was great and I am in negotiations right now on a Rav 4, for myself, and of course with Erik. In three years we will also return to them for our next Venza when this lease runs out. More

Everyone at New Country Toyota in Saratoga was excellent. You should have a category for excellent instead of just great!!! Joe Morand was exceptional with his service and support during this process. Buy You should have a category for excellent instead of just great!!! Joe Morand was exceptional with his service and support during this process. Buying a new car is a difficult process and he made it flawless. Bob McKenna's support for Joe and myself was also excellent. We have been doing business with New Country for over 20 years and have always had a wonderful experience both in sales and service. More
23 years, 5 cars, this is the best auto dealer we have ever delt with. The sales department has always been fair and easy to work a deal with. We bought a 2008 Sienna AWD Limited via an eBay listing. It was described as being "pristine" and having "every option available in 2008". We called the salesman to confirm everything and then we bid and won. It took almost a month and several calls to New Country before the van was ready for delivery. Then, the salesman missed our first scheduled delivery when he got into work late after partying the night before. When the van was finally delivered it was dirty inside and out, it smelled bad, it was missing items like headsets for the rear DVD and it didn't have two options I was looking forward to having, namely HID headlights and the Dynamic Laser Cruise Control. When I tried to contact New Country to fix these issues, no one would talk to us. We tried first with our salesman then the sales manager and neither returned our messages. When all else failed, we wrote a letter to the owner asking for his help but we didn't get a response from him either. Everybody makes mistakes and we can forgive a lot if an honest effort is made to make up for those mistake. Ignoring us instead of dealing with the mistakes is very unprofessional, especially for a Toyota dealer, and has made this one of the worst buying experiences we've ever had. More
Horrible service center! Had to return vehicle four times for the same problem, pay for rentals for the extended "so-called" service done to vehicle not yet a year old! Several appointments were made, and for the same problem, pay for rentals for the extended "so-called" service done to vehicle not yet a year old! Several appointments were made, and cancelled by the service center once we arrived! We had to continue our patronage in order to fullfill the warranty requirements of the repair. The repair also continues to reflect some of the very problems brought to their attention! NEVER AGAIN!!!! More
Well they say that a verbal contract is worth the paper it is printed on - and this dealership proves it. I have a car for sale in a local publication. Salesman Tim Cardinale of New Country calls me it is printed on - and this dealership proves it. I have a car for sale in a local publication. Salesman Tim Cardinale of New Country calls me to solicit buying the car. Apparently, they are taking a car they really want in trade, broker cars, and had offered my model to a customer only to have it sold out from under them by another store. We discussed details, I faxed them A) The clean title, and B) The original widow sticker. They ran a CarFacts and confirmed everything I told them about service. Tim Cardinale told me that he was authorized by management to extend an offer of a stated dollar amount. I accepted. He confirmed that we had a deal. Then, when I told him I was bringing the car in to complete the deal he tells me that his manager Don Cooper does not want the deal. Now let's get this straight, these guys called me from an ad I'd placed in the paper, checked out the car thoroughly, made an offer, I accepted and they confirmed the terms - and then they changed their minds. And folks wonder why car dealers have a bad reputation! Steer clear of New Country Toyota in Saratoga Springs NY. They do not keep their word. More
