Bait and switch They had a car on the show room floor for $18,000 I said I wanted it but wanted to test drive it, they did not want to take it off the floor until i b They had a car on the show room floor for $18,000 I said I wanted it but wanted to test drive it, they did not want to take it off the floor until i bought it so they set up a different one with the same features black and not red. so I took it out and liked it, I came back and they removed the sticker from the car i was looking at. then then did up an offer but changed the price to $25000 up from $18000 I ask why the change and they first said it was an error and they would not honor that price after talking with them they said if i pay a very high interest rate 6% up from the .9 % I had been approved at I could get it for the $18000 they or course blamed Ford for this. I did not buy and will not go back to this dealer More
Lied to by jerry carroll in special finance I bought a 2010 F150 from jerry carroll, was told it was a 2 owner truck from canada and was really clean, come to find out that a carfax after I boug I bought a 2010 F150 from jerry carroll, was told it was a 2 owner truck from canada and was really clean, come to find out that a carfax after I bought came back with a severe accident report, the caxfax when I bought was a clean no accident report, I purchased the for 19,000 which was high on blue book, I contacted jerry when I found about the accident report with the problem I had with it having a accident, the help he was trying to give me was trading it in and getting low blue book value, So their was no help from them and no remorse from jerry for lying to me, after paying payments and down payment and what I got for trade in at a different dealership who got me in a new vehical and financed in 30 minutes I lost $16,500 all together, THAT IS A BIG LOST OUT MY POCKET FOR A LYING SALES/FINANCE PERSON TO GET A SALE, I HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED ANY HELP FROM THAT DEALERSHIP EVEN AFTER I TALKRD ANDEFT MESSAGES WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER RICH LIEN, SO AFTER THEY GET THE SALE THE COULD CARE LEES ABOUT YOU!!!!!! recall issues to be fair I probably would not recommend any ford dealership. having said that here's my issue. I am a lifelong ford truck owner. ( my first a 1965 f to be fair I probably would not recommend any ford dealership. having said that here's my issue. I am a lifelong ford truck owner. ( my first a 1965 f100 4x4). I leased a 2016 f 150 from this dealer a year and a half ago. last winter I had door latching problems.(doors wouldn't stay latched). it was serviced to the best of the dealers ability. this winter the same thing is happening. this is a very unsafe situation. (the doors can come open while driving). I have 2 major issues. I was told they could not do the warranty/recall work for 2 weeks. this leaves me driving an unsafe vehicle till then. also, did the dealership know about this huge issue when they sold me this vehicle. ford has known about this for 2 years. there is pending lawsuits on this issue in certain states I have read. in the meantime I am left with a 4x4 pickup that is unsafe to drive in the cold weather because of door latch issues. I was going to buy this vehicle at lease end but not now. these 2015-2017 f150's will depreciate in value faster than other vehicles and I don't think a splash guard inside the doors is nothing more than a band-aid at best. Come on, New Brighton Ford. Good grief. My teen son bought an old Ford truck with a leaky fuel tank we brought it in for a repair quote. They required $99 diagnosis (even though we knew what the problem was) for a quote. We agreed, hoping for a reasonable price. The quote result was unclear, instead it was “somewhere around $1800, could be more or less, depending on what’s involved...” and the $99 could not be applied towards the work nor did it even buy us a firm quote. I completely understand dealer repairs cost more than other garages and I’m completely willing to pay a dealer more. But not 300% more, which is what I discovered after a few phone calls. We got it fixed elsewhere for $600. One last kick in the shorts was the $99 turned into $114.94 at the cashier because New Brighton Ford apparently found a way to tack on another 15% for their unfirm price quote. I used to get oil changes there but now will get nothing from the gougers. More

I approached the guy behind the desk and said I’m here for my free oil change. He doesn’t move a muscle and says you must be dropping it off. Dropping it off? For an oil change? He said they wouldn’t get around to it until about when we close? How is this quick? And u don’t take appointments?!?! Do people come and wait 3-4 hours for an oil change? The guy sitting at the desk didn’t have any desire to explain or help. He said well this is Ford’s way? What? I always buy from the Ford dealership in Plymouth and I’ve never heard of something so goofy. And if you can’t make an appointment, how does one plan their life to get an oil change? Thumbs down!!!
