Unprofessional Sales and Finance Practices Let the buyer beware.... this dealer is capable of running a spot delivery scam and/or bate and switch advertising on the cars displayed on their lot Let the buyer beware.... this dealer is capable of running a spot delivery scam and/or bate and switch advertising on the cars displayed on their lot. This review is specifically targeted to those consumers who may have poor or no credit. To avoid a bad experience as my husband and me, I recommend that you be sure to take at least 3 days to review any application or contracts carefully before signing. DO NOT... take delivery of a vehicle and drive it off the lot, give a cash deposit/down payments, nor handover an existing tag until after the dealer prepared contracts are carefully read and you agree with all statements; and affordable financing is available, preferable from your own bank or credit union. This dealer prepared a contract with an unacceptable high interest rate of 24% on a used 2011 vehicle with over 80,000 miles for 36 months. The used vehicle was priced above the posted average in northeast Florida with no warranty and mechanical issues. Also, if your credit score is already poor, this dealer may take weeks submitting multiple hits to your credit report to try and get their third party financing companies to telephone interview and approve you. This finance tactic will result in financing rejects and negatively impact your score even further. Looks are deceiving. Ask the salesperson to let you test drive the beautiful vehicle before signing the contracts; and ask to have the vehicle checked out by a private mechanic before purchasing a used vehicle that has no warranty. You should assess how much repairs may cost in addition to your monthly payment, gas, and insurance for the vehicle. I'm just saying.... even though you may need a vehicle right now.... lessons learned are it is critical that you slow down to avoid being the victim of high pressured tactics, unprofessional sales and finance practices, and scams. If this dealer won't allow you to take up to 3 days to review the contract or let you test drive or get the used vehicle checked out before signing contracts, I recommend you walk away from the lot and find another alternative to acquiring a vehicle.
