We purchased a brand new car back in February and we agreed upon the internet ad price of $23,575. Long story short, we were charged the full amount of the car ($28,600) and an additional $2,000 for a powertrain warranty. We are in a legal battle with this company and pursuing consumer fraud. For all of you who got scammed by this dealership, I would consult a lawyer and sue them. More

On 05/31/2010, I went there at 9:30am and left until 7:30pm and did not get my car. They asked me to buy the insurance, checked my credit, after they put down the price on the paper. When they showed 7:30pm and did not get my car. They asked me to buy the insurance, checked my credit, after they put down the price on the paper. When they showed me the paper again, they added words without my knowledge statements like -- all promotion rebates go to dealer rather buyers. Instead of offering me 0% for 36 months as they promised the day before, they charged me 5.69% daily compounding rate (i.e. 6.5% APR). I told me I have 760+ solid credit score and have 250K+ income jobs, why do they charge high interest rate? They said, if I choose 0%, I need to pay $2000 upfront. Then, I wrote a check to them to pay the car for cash. They refused to accept my check. Either you took 6.5% APR without any price discount (the price is already $2000 up from their promised price the day before) or you went away. They even threatened me that, if I did not buy the car, my car insurance would be wasted and Geico would charge me at least $150 cancellation fee. Actually, I called Geico right away and Geico said, no cancelltion fee at all. Therefore, even if I already wasted 9.5 hours (9:30am - 7pm), bought insurance, got my credit checked, I was so furious and I decided to leave. Fortunately, Geico reserved my policy for 6 months (after cancellation on the same day) so that in 2 weeks, when I bought my Honda at DCH Academy Honda in New Jersy, I resumed ym insurnace immediately. Guess what, the price I paid at DCH Academy Honda for Yr 2010 Accord LX auto on 6/12/201 is almost $1000 cheaper than the price this auwful, evil Nemet Motor dealer charged me on a Nissan Altima 2.5S Year 2010 car. How come Honda is cheaper than Nissan? Because Nemet Motor surcharged customers wildly. A father and a son spent 3 to 4 hours there and met the same dirty trick as me finally when they signed the contract in front of the finance manager. They hated to cancel because they had already spent a lot of time and efforts. So, they finally paid $2000 or more surcharge to get the car that day. But, before they left, they clearly told the dealer very loudly, "Don't do it again!". ======== During my 2+ month search, I was cheated by New Jersey Hillside Dealer (Route 22 Honda) and New York Jamaica Nemet Nissan Dealer twice in Apr and May 2010. They played the same dirty tricks -- promised me a good deal at a competitative price, asked me to go there, signed the contract, bought the insurance (Nemet Motor required), and, then required me to buy certain options and pay surcharges, from $1299 (Route 22) to $2000 (Nemet). When I refused, they kicked me out extremely rudely. I wasted 8 hours at Nemet or 3 hours at Route 22 already, not to mention 3 hours travel time to the dealer site. So, I had to leave empty-handed. I hated these two and most dealers and I swear I would never deal with any dealers to negeotiate price and terms on-site. I'll do everythign through emails and I only to go there, pay and pick up the car. The New Jersey Freehold dealer does not belong to the very best dealers who are willing to offer me transparent price. DCH Academy Honda in New Jersy gave me a clean list of price, including sales tax and title, and the final out-the-door price; and they promised me that is the final price I need to pay, 100% sure they would have any hidden price or options. After DCH's email of clean quote, a few other NY and NJ dealers followed the suits and sent me their transparent price list, too. Some are better priced, two hundreds ($200) lower than DCH's price. But I choose DCH firmly because I valued their honest service and appreciated their being the first to offer me a whole clean list of price via emails. I would not jump ship unless any other quote is at least $500 lower than DCH (that would mean DCH is overpriced). Actually, none of the other quoted list is more than $300 lower than DCH. So, I told DCH I would go there on Sat (last Sat 6/12/10), pay and pick up the car. I already told them the color I want via email. DCH got the car ready there, did an express buy procedure for me, and overall it took me only 2 hours and 8 minutes to drive the new car away. I am thrilled at DCH's perfect service. Going forward, I'll most likely stick to DCH for all my life time car request, unless their price is way too much out-of-norm, which is likely unlikely. I have gone to http://www.dealerrater.com/ to give DCH the highest rating and I will tell all me friends and 19,000 members in my organization, where I am its Chairman, that DCH is the honest and best choice, while Route 22 Hillside Honda and NYC Nemet Motor are the most evil dealers to play dirty tricks to customers. I was told to my face and handed paperw lie to you. I purchased my used Nissan Armada from this dealer and bought got an extended warrantee with it. I was told to my face and handed paperwork to the fact that my coverage would extend to the electrical components. When I started having problems with my dvd and back up camera, I was told that my warrantee did not cover those items. I was mislead and lied to. I have contacted the dealer for them to make good on this and they refuse. I will not ever go to this dealership again and may not buy Nissan again. More
