They charged $601 for a car battery and charged a whopping $169 to plug it in to see what was wrong. First of all when a customer tells a mechanic they had to jump start the car 3 times in 2 weeks co whopping $169 to plug it in to see what was wrong. First of all when a customer tells a mechanic they had to jump start the car 3 times in 2 weeks common sense would be to put a volt meter on battery and check alternator. You don’t need to plug it in for common sense mechanic work. Next let’s say they like to gouge and just stick it to every customer with that bogus charge the total was still $601 with tax!! So let’s take tax off and that insane $169 fee that’s still $389 for a battery!!!! Come on !! It wasn’t enough to gouge the $169 but $389 on top of that for a BATTERY!!! More
Bought a $54000 vehicle. Trim piece fell off during shipping. I took months to get another which fell off again. Still waiting for it to be replaced. Faulty seat belt. The first time I told them about it (at my first service) they dismissed us and said nothing was wrong. When I took it in for the second service I showed them the little elastic piece that was broken that keeps the seat belt from becoming stuck down in the seat when you try to fasten it. Supposedly they ordered a new seat cover which the piece is attached to. It has been over a month and still waiting. Had a leak when it rains hard. They couldn’t find the leak. Had the car over a year and it has never been complete. It would be nice to talk directly to the person working on the car. More
Purchased Altima in 2016. 1N4AL3AP4GC167095 Tired of hearing the same noise every day. Pleasant purchase experience. Started get a rattling noise when first started for ab 1N4AL3AP4GC167095 Tired of hearing the same noise every day. Pleasant purchase experience. Started get a rattling noise when first started for about a minute. Had in for regular service and asked for this to be checked. This was on more than one or two occasion. I asked the service advisor about this & he explained that during routine service the person does not check the item enquired. Just the regular maintenance of oil - filter etc.. This explains why it was never checked during service. But, there were no notes made of the complaint. Left the vehicle. Picked up & I was told it did not make the sound when started for them. They did find a broken weld at Catalytic Converter heat shield. They explained this would cost around 1200.00 to correct. They could not make the repair. ( spot weld ). Only replace the part. Heat shield is part of the converter. Took to muffler place in Tulsa. Welded . No Charge. Took less than 5 minutes. Tipped him 20.00. Did that fix the problem? No. The response from the service advisor was just have to wait, " it's under warranty" . It makes this noise 99% of every morning start-up. I am sure this is heat related in an exhaust area. Noise slowly dissipates after heat. Does not make the noise if turned off & restarted. During aftermath of Covid ran over a dear. Literally, it had been hit and was laying across road. It was at night. Brought in the next day to have someone do a visual check underneath for damage. This is where I purchased the Altima. I was told they were completely booked on appointments couple week. I could make appointment or take to a Same Day Auto Repair to check. Did this. Took to where I get my other vehicle's serviced. They are on it if you just need regular PM servicing. More
Service department is in need of improvement. I have always had a difficult time scheduling a timely appointment. A week ago I scheduled a normal oil change/rotation appointment online and received conf always had a difficult time scheduling a timely appointment. The service person told me to go to Jiffy Lube! I know there are warranty items probably due and I wanted to discuss tire purchase. I guess somebody else will be happy to have that business as well. This is for the service dept, in which Payton and his technicians were superb in their explanation of my vehicle, amazing hard work, in stock parts, the greatest of all is the communication and keeping y technicians were superb in their explanation of my vehicle, amazing hard work, in stock parts, the greatest of all is the communication and keeping you informed every step of the way, we had the pleasure of Payton to be our advisor and he was so wonderful, letting you know step by step until your vehicles work is complete. Their honest and truly take pride in the work they do on vehicles. They are quick efficient with an overall A+ with 20 stars max on my scale. More
Kept car one week and could not find or hear cracking noise that vehicle was brought in for, for the second time, yet noise was heard leaving dealership. Also heat not getting hot, said they topped coola noise that vehicle was brought in for, for the second time, yet noise was heard leaving dealership. Also heat not getting hot, said they topped coolant off and working- it is not. Vehicle under warranty but tell me that it will cost $125 for a diagnosis. (?eh?) Upon picking my vehicle up, I found that they used over 1/3 tank of gas and did not replenish like they ask you to do with thier loaner vehicle. Called dealership and was told they should refill gas, go speak to GM. When I went back in, was treated like that's standard and was crazy for mentioning. Had to argue with and ask if they give the same expectations back. Then when they finally agreed, I had to follow the mechanic to the gas station which he then used profound words at the pump due to gas card not working, refilling with $5. Would not recommend Nelson Nissan. More

Jason kept in contact with me and informed me that they would have to order parts. The whole time they had my truck Jason let me know everything that was going on. The technician did a great job on the repairs, I think his name was Stephen, and to top it all off the repairs came in under the expected cost. I have to drive a little to get there but it is worth it. from the front of the dealership to the shop these people are the very best. Always friendly, and more importantly helpful, and truly want to take care of the customer. Don't waste your time on other shops, I have tried them, they just don't take care of your vehicle the way they Nelson Nissan does. Again these people are the very Best. More
