I do understand that every business has to make their money BUT I do not believe in trying to bully or push someone to purchase a vehicle. I was told by a salesman, who knew I was doing a cash sale because I did not want to go into debt, to finance it so I could get it or to call family and friends to donate close to $1,000 dollars. The salesman’s title is a product specialist and I think this might be true only on the Mazda’s not anything else, which I get because there is an infinite number of vehicles out there. The great thing was I found something wrong with the vehicle and they fixed it before I was even thinking about purchasing it. The closing process was painless. They vehicle I purchased is in excellent condition and I feel that it will be a very reliable vehicle for years to come. After two weeks they did come down $400 from their original price. More

He was ok when I first purchased my lease there in December 2017, but I've since moved to Texas was sadly involved in an accident yesterday, all I needed was his general guidance on what to do next, it's like he was not hearing me when I explained myself. He wasn't getting it. I emailed, got no response. Called and left a VM with no response, and had to call again for him to finally answer. After explaining what I needed he spoke as if I was going to come all the way back to TN to get another car. Huh? That's hours away! This wasn't about coming to him to lease again, but leasing again in general. If he could have said "I'm sorry to read/hear about your accident, *confirm any main points I needed to know* you will want to contact a Mazda dealership there and they can assist you with another vehicle...was there anything else I could help you with today?" that would have been great! It took too much from him to just say some of that. He didn't even ask if I was ok. I felt I could trust Joe for help seeing as though he assisted me the first time. Ive already been through enough with getting hit...this conversation was frustrating to say he least. Sorry to have to write this about him, but next time I will just call the general manager. Ugh! 😔 More
Poor Experience - Service Dept I brought my 2016 Mazda 3 to Nelson Mazda for servicing on three occasions. The first, an oil change, was scheduled to take 1 hour so I chose to I brought my 2016 Mazda 3 to Nelson Mazda for servicing on three occasions. The first, an oil change, was scheduled to take 1 hour so I chose to stay at the dealership. After an hour and a half I complained and was told it was almost ready. Naturally, it was not finished for another hour, so I ended up spending a total of two and a half hours on a scheduled oil change. The second time I brought my car in for a recall on the emergency brake. Everything seemed to go fine until two days later I engaged the e-brake to find it had lost almost all tension. The remaining tension in the brake was engaging whether I had pulled the brake or not, meaning that while driving my e-brake pads were grabbing slightly. I was told this was exactly what the recall was meant to repair, and had to bring it back into the shop to have them re-fix the issue their initial work had caused. Finally, the third time I brought it in was to repair my front brakes which had worn down. The technicians replaced the pads and everything worked fine for several months before I noticed shaking through my steering wheel on braking. Upon taking it to another repair facility I was told that Mazda had not balanced the calipers after installing new pads. This has caused my new pads to completely wear down already and needed to be replaced again (which I had the other repair company do). I've complained several times to various people at Nelson Mazda about all of these issues. I can say confidently that I'll never take my car back to be serviced at this dealer. For recalls even if I have to drive way out of town to a different dealership it will be worth it to keep these folks away from my car. Its not worth the time or money I've spent fixing issues because this service department cant handle basic repairs. More

I was introduced to Liz (Elizabeth Roche) on my first visit and she made everything so easy and transparent from that moment onward. Pricing at this dealership is best and you don't need to ask for any additional discounts. Would highly recommend everyone to try them once. Got pre approved online in seconds. Called Nelson Mazda in Antioch, TN and they sent Joseph L to come pick me up in the car I wanted so I could test drive on the way to purchasing. Ben M and Joseph L were both very personable and explained all steps, costs, etc THOROUGHLY. Got a free emission slip for testing through them and Joseph eve picked up results the next day to take care of tags and registration. Overall, extremely satisfied with not only the sense of urgency (as my phone was ringing back to back with work calls) but the thoroughness. A++ More
