Over all a good experience, however Over all was very satisfied with buying experience, price and customer service, however The front brake pads were replaced by Nelson before I purch Over all was very satisfied with buying experience, price and customer service, however The front brake pads were replaced by Nelson before I purchased the vehicle. They squeak when I apply the brakes and turn right. I brought it back to have them check it because I thought the pads were worn down to the indicator bar. A mechanic took it for a test ride, then told me that the pads were new so they couldn't be worn out yet. I went home, and pulled the front passenger wheel off to have a look for myself and discovered that guide pins that keep the brake pads from shifting on the top was missing the cotter pin that keeps the guide pin from falling out, and the bottom one was so mangled that it probably won't stay there much longer on it's own. The service technician who replaced these pads clears has zero regard for the safety of your customers or the financial and legal risk they exposed Nelson to. Nelson spent $50 on new brake pads because they know selling a car with worn brake pads is a great way to loose repeat business, and your service technician ruined all of that effort by failing to replace a $10-12 brake hardware kit. If the brake hardware was simply worn out and making noise I'd be okay with that and just replace it and move on, but they failed to secure the hardware safely. I would have gladly paid $10, $20 or $50 more for properly installed brake hardware and the piece of mind that comes along with it. More
