Nazareth Ford responded

When vehicle was origionally brought into our shop the belt was covered with an oily substance. The first thing we did was clean the belt area thoroughly and listen for noises, none heard and vehicle was released. When vehicle returned we had not origionally heard anything but after a while, we heard an intermittent noise. As we listened with a stethoscope, we heard noise from timing cover area which is most likely the hydraulic cam phaser. The idler pulley was not noisey and therefore no need to replace.
