Questionable Sales Tactics Last evening I purchased a car from Rivergate Toyota. On the Carfax there appeared a recall for the HVAC. When I inquired about the recall, I was spe Last evening I purchased a car from Rivergate Toyota. On the Carfax there appeared a recall for the HVAC. When I inquired about the recall, I was specifically told by the sales person that they did not sell cars that had recalls on them. Come to find out that the car has two recalls pending. I would be very careful when buying from this dealership. I fault myself for not stopping the sell when there was a red flag. Don't be pushed or rushed, make sure you read the Carfax thoroughly and don't take the word of the sales person regarding the car. They appear to be more concerned with selling cars then telling the truth!! More

This was my first new car and he made it an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. He knew when to back off and let me be, he knew when to engage and be there for me. He got me the numbers I wanted in a very quick timeline, never felt pressured or like I was being sold something I shouldn't be buying. The first car I test drove was out of my price range by $6-7K, once I told him that, he worked up new options on the spot that fit my needs and price range.
