Joseph was very aggressive with their pricing and really worked with me to get me to a place where I was comfortable paying for the car, John was super helpful explaining everything about the financial process and all the add ons that they offer, and JP was hands down one of the finest car salesman I have ever dealt with. He was funny, respectful, not pushy, and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend getting a car from this Honda dealership and will most likely go back to this Honda when I am ready to get a new car again. Fantastic staff there, top notch vehicles, and amazing quality all around with their service and inventory. More
I came to this dealership just to browse the vehicles was debating on upgrading my current car. Ran into a gentleman named Anthony he was amazing, extremely patient with me and my thousand questions. This dealership is a joke. Stay away. Here is my experience. I called the day prior to setup an appointment to check out a used Honda HR-V. I wasn't sure what time I would be arriving the next day so I was I called the day prior to setup an appointment to check out a used Honda HR-V. I wasn't sure what time I would be arriving the next day so I was told to call an hour ahead to give them time to get the car ready for me. I was driving from the northside of Chicago, an hour drive to get there. Just before leaving, I called to let them know, and I was told the car would be in front ready for me to look at and test drive. I was told to ask for Pria. I arrived an hour later and asked for Pria. Pria looked confused, did not greet me or introduce herself, no handshake. I was told to wait while they got the car.(RED FLAG NUMBER 1) The car was not out front ready for me as I was told it would be. 15 minutes later Pria and Anthony tell me they can’t find the car I drove an hour to look at and asked me if I would like to look at a NEW HR-V. (RED FLAG NUMBER 2) By now I’m thinking is this the old “bait and switch”? I told them no I’d like to look at the car I drove here for. They go look for the car again. 15 minutes later…”We found the car but it won’t start so we have to jump it. It’s been sitting in the lot for a month so a jump should get it started” (RED FLAG NUMBER 3) 15 minutes later “The car needs a new battery and you’ll have to wait another 30 minutes” (RED FLAG NUMBER 4). So by now I’ve been there just under an hour. The car that was supposed to by ready and waiting for me needs a new battery, and no one has said anything close to an apology. I wait the 30 minutes for them to replace the battery I’m now pushing an hour and 30 minutes at this JOKE of a dealership. Anthony has now taken over my “sale” we walk outside to finally look at the car. I see a CRACKED WINDSHIELD.(RED FLAG NUMBER 5) Anothony tells me “Oh I didn’t even notice that, we can fix that for you another day if you do buy the car and want to come back” Driving with a cracked windshield is illegal.(RED FLAG NUMBER 6) We get in the car and Anthony tells me it has Apple Carplay. I know this model and trim does not have apple car play so I ask him to get a apple charger so I can see it work. He gets the charger there’s no apple carplay. (RED FLAG NUMBER 7) I then notice the sun visor on the drivers side is broken and won’t shut properly. We test drive the car. Everything appears to run fine. By now I’m asking Anthony what does a Certified pre-owned car even mean. This car needed a new battery and a new windshield what else is wrong with it? He tells me oh it just means it’s safe to drive. Like a cracked windshield is safe to drive…. After the test drive I let him know I’m getting close to being late for work at this point. As we start heading in I notice the keys have a remote start button, and remote trunk open button. I didn’t expect this because neither features had been listed on the details online. I ask him if the car did in fact have these features and he said yes they do! Great I’m going to see if they work. Instead of waiting outside with me to see if they work, he heads inside….I try the both buttons and neither works. I head inside and tell him. I’m then told “That because we put in a new battery the car needs time to “re-calobrate” and that could take a couple of hours”(RED FLAG NUMBER 8) I tell him I want all these issues fixed if I’m going to buy this car. I’m told no problem. By now I’m going to be late for work if I don’t leave so I tell him I need to go. He gets a manager. They tell me it will all be taken care of and I have nothing to worry about I’m in good hands. Expect a call tomorrow. The next day I don’t hear from Anthony, so I call. I’m told there are people ahead of me getting their cars fixed so it will take more time. OK. I wait. A week goes by. The car is now listed as SOLD on carguru. I call. “Anthonys not here but we will call his cell and let him know right away you are trying to get ahold of him. Nothing. No call back. It’s now been over a week and this JOKE of a car dealership has completely wasted my time. More
