Terrible Waste of Time Went to the dealership to buy a car I had seen online. According the them they had sold that vehicle that day. At this point I was disappointed and wa Went to the dealership to buy a car I had seen online. According the them they had sold that vehicle that day. At this point I was disappointed and was going to chalk it up as a loss. However, like any dealership they led me to believe they could find the car from another dealership and have it brought over. That didn't work so they brought over the person who purchases their used cars (think it his name was Tony). He came over to guarantee he could work and get a car that was a year new but a sedan(i was looking for a coupe) into the price range I was looking for. So I then went and looked and the car and even though it wasn't what I came for I liked it enough that for the right price I would buy it. Needless to say another 40 minutes go by and then our salesman comes back with a quote that is over my monthly payments as well as being 8,000 dollars more than the car I originally came to buy. At this point they had wasted a little over 3 hours of my time with promises that never came to fruition. I demanded my keys and license back because during this time I had found the car I wanted from another dealership and verified it was there. Getting my keys and license back became another hassle as they tried to send 2 more people to question why I didn't want the car further wasting my time. Even to the point of treating me like I'm an idiot and saying he doesn't know which license is mine when he has a paper in his hand with my name on it and the other 2 licenses on the counter are women. All in all it was and extremely disappointing experience at a place that has such a high review. I will give them credit they used every sales trick known to man to try to convince me to buy the car, but I would never recommend someone to go there. But it all worked out in the end I was able to buy the exact car I wanted with 20k less miles and exactly in my price range at another dealership. Unfortunately I will never get back the 3+ hours I lost believing that River Oaks Honda could work our a deal. More
"After sale" experience has been a nightmare My husband and I found Napleton River Oaks Honda while browsing Trucar.com. We were contacted within hours of inquiring about the vehicle online. We l My husband and I found Napleton River Oaks Honda while browsing Trucar.com. We were contacted within hours of inquiring about the vehicle online. We live 3 hours from the dealership but decided to make the drive the following day to purchase a 2013 KIA Optima SXL. We arrived right before they opened and was finally able to finish up and head home at 3 pm. Eric was our finance manager. He sold us a warranty that was to include interior protection (tears, rips, etc in the leather) and coverage that if the car was to be wrecked and considered a total loss, the loan would be paid off. We trusted him and did not read the pages and pages of supposed coverage. My husband and I are both 3rd shifters and at this point, had been awake for 27+ hours, was sleep deprived and ready to go home so we trusted Eric's word that we were purchasing what he said was included in this warranty. 10 days after purchase, I had to take the car to the local KIA dealership due to a gurgling noise coming from inside the dash, oil leaking, the back up camera and stero unit malfunctioning and the passenger door handle breaking off. At this time is when I read the warranty information and discovered the warranty did not include all coverage promised. I have attempted contact with Eric over a dozen times and have yet to receive a call back. I even went as far as to leave a message for Frank (the GM) and also, no response. I decided to try contacting the general finance department and was FINALLY able to establish contact with Richard who is also a finance manager. He was very helpful and apologetic and assured me he would pull my paperwork and get to the bottom of this. He never called back and never answered or returned the many, MANY voicemails I have left attempting to get this resolved. Also, I drove around for THREE weeks with expired dealer tags because their title department could not produce the necessary paperwork on time for me to legally register the car. I asked for them to extend my dealer tags being this issue was beyond my control and they declined. I asked for them to type a note simply stating the circumstances of the situation incase I were to be pulled over (I was by the way) and again, they declined. The people at Napleton River Oaks Honda are unprofessional and lack proper etiquette and basic customer service skills. They were all "smiles" and genuinely helpful until the sale was complete. They do not care about their customers and GOD forbid, if you do indeed purchase your next vehicle from them? Pray that the vehicle is in immaculate condition with 0 chance of ever breaking because it will be a nightmare attempting to get even the simplest of problems solved. And, if you purchase a warranty, do NOT take their word for what it includes, READ the fine print!! For your own protection. More

However, I specifically requested that the financing go through Capital One instead of Wells Fargo because I simply do not like Wells Fargo......long story. The finance person also stated it would go through Capital One. But, somehow it ended up with Wells Fargo anyway. I left a voice mail for Frank and have not got a call back. It is frustrating not to get a call back. More

We are very pleased with past service and are even more satisfied with the way we were treated during our last visit. Our salesperson, Alvin Crowder could not have been more helpful. He worked patiently with us, and was very serious about taking care of the business; making sure we were absolutely satisfied. He is a real gentleman. The General Manager, Alex Marron, was also a delight to work with; answering our many questions and he did his best to make sure we understood every aspect of the deal. I cannot omit Jill Verbich (sales consultant) and Larry Chambers (delivery manager). They were very helpful, as well. Our overall experience - A+ More
