Terrible experience fixing my car I took the car to Napleton Dealer in Lansing to fix engine light and Tom Walker (service manager) read a diagnostic that car need engine flush, clean I took the car to Napleton Dealer in Lansing to fix engine light and Tom Walker (service manager) read a diagnostic that car need engine flush, clean phaser, need new filter and oil for a total of charge of $600. 4 days later, car was giving back to me stating everything was inspecting and good to go and fix. I ran the car and less in 30 minutes i brought the car back to dealer since it was making noise from the engine and checking light again reappeared on the screen. The next day, the car is giving back to me stating that car has been fix and clean phaser and they don't hear any noise. I ran the car again for 45 minutes and car was still making noise and checking light reappeared again. i brought the car back to dearler for the 3rd time since i told them that they haven't fix the problem. after 3 more days without hearing from them, i decided to call them back and now they ran another diagnostic and i was told that engine is ruined. I have a terrible experience since 1st and 2nd diagnostic was never told engine was ruined and pay $600 for nothing and now 3rd time they are telling me that engine is not good. why you Tom walker tell me after first and second diagnostic was is good to used and when i brought them back for the 3rd time car engine is ruined. you should pay me back the $ 600 since nothing was fix on the car.. I don't recommend anyone to go there since you will pay alot Dollars for no a great service.. More

I was referred to Ken by a family friend as I was having some issues with my 2016 Jeep Patriot. I was reluctant at first because Napelton was not the dealership I bought my car from. Ken went out of his way to make sure I was treated like family. He came to my house on a Sunday to swap out cars with me as I travel a lot for work, he had the service center find the issue by lunchtime on Monday, and the car was returned to me on Tuesday!!! I couldn't have had a better experience and owe it all to Ken's "customer first" attitude. More

5 Months Car Not Fixed Brought my car to Napleton's River Oaks Chrylsler Dodge Jeep Ram (Lansing,IL.) for service, vehicle had engine noise and starting problem. They repl Brought my car to Napleton's River Oaks Chrylsler Dodge Jeep Ram (Lansing,IL.) for service, vehicle had engine noise and starting problem. They replaced my starter but when I got the car back the engine noise was still there. Drove the car off the lot and it would not start later on the same day. I had the vehicle towed back to Napleton. River Oaks CDJR replaced another starter, no good....towed back. Now, they perform work on the engine which cost over $4000.00. Got the car back and I got stranded at the store, the car would not start....towed back to Napleton. Noise still there too. They call and tell me they figured it out, it was a wiring problem. They charged another $2000 for a wiring component, told me to come get it. I pick the car up, and it wont start later that day, brought back to Napleton River Oaks CDJR. Napleton tells me its a wiring problem, a short. They do more work, billing out and tell me to come get it. This cycle repeats itself for weeks. Finally, I arrive at dealership, Napleton employee drives my car from the back garage service lot to the front of the dealership to return my vehicle to me with NO OIL in the engine, car displaying oil warning lights. I lift the hood in their lot and confirm NO OIL in the engine and my Hemi engine cover missing. I complain to service manager, he tells me come back and get it tomorrow so they can put oil back in it, check it out and put it together. I return the next day. Manager tells me once again my issue was electrical not engine related, but they did some “work” and its fine now. I drive the car and it wont start later that day. I complain to FCA ( Dodge Corporate), they investigate and Napleton tells FCA, I need a new engine, its not electrical issue. xxx??? Subsequently, I take it to another mechanic and another dealer, who both tell me it needed an engine replacement. Come to find out Napleton didn't want to refund money for misdiagnosis and over billing to me and warranty company. In summary, my car was at Napleton for 5 months and never got fixed. I am out of pocket thousands of dollars in rental cars, thousands in repair costs and thousands replacing an engine. My experience has been horrible with Napleton's River Oaks Chrylsler Dodge Jeep Ram. More

I called him about my coolant that I thought it was leaking and asked him how I may could make an appointment he said I will pick your car up! In this day and age for salesman to go out of their way to pick your car up so I didn’t have the 90 mile round-trip drive is amazing he reassured me he let me talk to Tom Walker who is also very thorough and they reassured me that everything was fixed I then was able to get my credit card and then the bill was paid. I didn’t have to leave my house this is wonderful wonderful wonderful service in 2019. I would encourage everyone to go see Ken because you can trust him and if something happens with your car you can trust Tom Walker . This is the reason I’ve only bought Dodges for 40 years . Now I’m a believer Let me start by saying I don’t normally write reviews, but the exceptional service I witnessed has prompted me to write this one. My company has purchased several vehicles from Ken including 3 ProMasters, to serve as delivery vans. Last week the transmission blew on one of the vans. We towed it to our local repairman.... $6,000 quote and two week wait. CUE KEN WALTER! We called Ken immediately, got the Van down to him at the dealership and he handled the rest. Ken had the van repaired and back to us in 4 days for nearly half the cost wIth a warranty. And if that wasn’t enough, Ken came to our facility and took our other 2 ProMasters down to the dealership for a tuneup. Ken and the service team had both Vans back to our location on the same day. Huge shoutout to Ken Walter and Andrew (service director) for going above and beyond for us. They saved us time, labor, and money. I could not have been more impressed. HORRIBLE and failure to comply with advertisement I was very dissatisfied with the service at Napleton’s River Oaks. To support my claim of attempting to get resolution I wrote letters addressed to Ray Czarnik, (the owner) over and over because I thought he would care and would want to know, due to his awesome speech on May 3rd, in the presence of at least 15 people. My complaints: Door handle broke, Oil light on by the third day, not being able to get a response from Jake, 4 hr. wait, failed communication system and more, that I expressed to Anthony before expressing to Ray on Aug. 31. Ray was extremely abusive and rude in his tone and not the least bit bothered by the poor service on May 3rd or my inconveniences. Ray was not the least bit thankful for me attempting to reach him to resolve my issues and making him aware of poor customer service and other issues. His speech directed customers to let him know of any problems!!! He became irritated and impatient He used intimidating words as well as intimidating body language. He displayed arrogant and self righteous behavior. He talked down and spoke disrespectful to me.Ray used abuse of power and intimidation. I agree many reviews seem fake and written by his people. I do not recommend the service department to anyone...I have documents to support my claims. I doubt very seriously that he actually responded to the previous reviews. More

He even lent us his personal car for the day so we would not be effected, saving us rental car costs as well as cost of gas driving to and from Des Plaines to Lansing, IL. The following night after work, he brought our car back to us. I am not aware of any other car salesperson that stays with a customer for a full year after a sale, offering continual help and support all along the way. How thoughtful and caring! Ken treats his customers like family. A rare quality in a human, unheard of for most salespeople. Ken is a purple squirrel, a true anomaly. We have never met another sales person like Ken Walter and we count ourselves very fortunate. Ken- you’ve earned a few lifetime customers. we’ll never buy from anyone else. THANK YOU!!! More
