Our first time visit was with an appointment for an oil Our first time visit was with an appointment for an oil change. We have just been transfered from Houston and was looking for a Hyundia dealer. With Our first time visit was with an appointment for an oil change. We have just been transfered from Houston and was looking for a Hyundia dealer. With this appointment, my wife took our 2005 Hyundia for an oil change and was told a wait of 1 1/2 hour will be needed that day. No price was told to her. The oil requested by my wife was Mobil 1 since this is all we use in every car or truck for years. After 3 hour wait and a bill of over $100.00 the car was ready. As you can imagine, my wife called in shock and upset. I told her to pay get get out of there. We did call to complain and a person called "Ziggy" responded with excuses??? 3 hour wait, 2X the time told, and a bill of $100.00 for a Mobil 1 oil change? $12+ per quart? ) Just the day before, a Chevy Dealer did our Suburban for $62.00. Yes, Mobil 1 and 1 more quart than the Hyundia. My goodness.... More

Since the fir ****************** BUYER BEWARE!!!! ******************* I purchased a used 2005 Cadillac xxx from the Hyundai store in Calumet City. Since the first day I purchased the car I have had constant issues with the engine, the power steering and all of the electrical components in the car. Initially they were very nice, but once I signed off on all of the finance papers, geez all xxxx broke lose. My car has been in the shop 9 times, yes "9" times for the same issues since I purchased it in January. I purchaased the extended warranty to no avail, becuase it really covers nothing. Additionally after constantly breaking down, Napleton Hyundai finally gets the bright idea to send my Cadillac xxx over to their Napleton Cadillac service department for repairs. Well Napleton Cadillac claims that they re-built the engine, but just two days after getting my car back (which by the way they had for an entire month!) the problem still persisted. OH by the way, even though I had a warranty, I still had to come out of my pocket $245.00 for the following: a missing dipstick($45.00), warranty deductible ($100.00) and some other repair which was not covered by my warranty ($100.00). This happened in Late August/ EarlySeptember 2009. Now two weeks later, my electrical failed again! This was my second time being stranded in which I had to walk home! After they came and towed my car back to the dealership, I was informed that my battery was no good and becuase batteries fall under normal wear and tear of a vehicle, I would have to pay for the tow ($130.00) and the cost of replacing the battery ($300.00). Now mind you, I just paid them $245.00 just two weeks ago. Now I have a 485.00 car note, insurance, and a $430.00 car repair payments to make on a car that is supposed to be "warrantied". Napleton Hyundai sucks...!!!! Their service department sucks and once they sell you the vehicle, you suck to them. I hate Napleton Hyundai and wish they would stop "f" ing people over. Oh did I mention, while they are holding onto my car for repairs right now... I have to catch the bus to work and walk everywhere I go becuase I dont have a car nor a loaner from them to use. Again let me remind you that I am paying a $485.00 car note to ride the bus! Napleton Hyundai refused to do ANYTHING about the situation. They are blaming Napleton Cadillac who is now saying to me, just shut up and pay me basically. Not only is this situation disheartnening, but the only reason I even purchased a car from them is becuase a long time friend of mine works for them now and I brought the car because of him. Even he is now acting as if "they" are doing me a favor, when he KNOWS good and well that I was given a very SHADY deal. I just want justice.... not aggravation. I wish I would have saved my money, time, effort and sanctity by not even going to them. ****** BUYER BEWARE ******** More
