we apologize for the hassle, but you have a vin specific recall, until the car comes in to verify the recall was not performed the manufacturer allows us to order a part based on the vin number of the car, when the part arrives we will be happy to install it, this is why were not able to perform it on the spot, there are times we can, but not with this specific one!

Reading this review, I am puzzled, you should be contacting Kia consumer affairs. We are only a repair facility,All of the security items you are mentioning are items the customer can purchase on their own, you can not add an imobilizer, if the factory did not produce the car with that you have to look at aftermarket items to fill the needs you are looking for. You can call Kia at 800-333-4KIA for any questions or concerns in relation to the product concerns such as the ones you are mentioning in this review.

Thank you very much for this information. I will contact KIA consumer relations concerning the immobilizer and the fact that the alarm system was not connected to the windows. Unfortunately, you all received an unsatisfactory review because there was No communication when I called. Texting is ok but I like verbal communication (phone calls). Now, I'm slowly changing my review to 2 stars because there is some communication but very slow progress with the car repairs.
