Easiest New Car Buying Experience Ever I had been driving several different German luxury brand cars for the last 8 years but finally got tired of the high maintenance cost, so so mileage a I had been driving several different German luxury brand cars for the last 8 years but finally got tired of the high maintenance cost, so so mileage and paying almost $5/gal for premium gas in the summer of 2013. I was looking for a car with all the High Tech features of the cars I had been driving but with better mileage and lower cost of ownership. I did a lot of research on the Internet and found many great reviews for the new 2014 Mazda6. I then paid a visit to Continental Mazda of Naperville and met Gabriel Jiminez. He was the best informed automobile sales person I had ever meet. I'm an Electrical Engineer and often find myself asking technical questions when I make a major purchase. Generally I am rarely satisfied with the answers I get from sales people but Gabriel really impressed me with the depth of his knowledge about cars in general and Mazda's specifically. He answered all my question completely and offered additional information that helped making my decision to buy a Madza6 Touring an easy one. I have 15K miles on the car so far with no issues other than a GPS system update. On my longer road trips, I am averaging 39 MPG! Around town I still get 28MPG and this is in a full size car not an econobox. The ride and handling are great for any vehicle. I enjoyed dealing with Gabriel so much, I purchased a used Mazda3 from him for my daughter about a year later. I just called him up and gave him a general idea of what we were looking for and in about 2 weeks he called to let me know he found the perfect car for my daughter who was just about to get her drivers license. He said it was a great car that would likely sell fast. He suggested placing a deposit over the phone to be sure it would still be available when we finally got in to see it. I trusted Gabriel and he assured me if we didn't like it, the deposit would be refunded. Well it was the perfect car and we purchased it after a close inspection and test drive. My daughter is still smiling about what a great car she has. I have now been in for service (oil changes, GPS map updates and general maintenance) 3 times and I am always impressed by the service department. The work is done quickly and my car returned clean with no bad surprises or delays. I have owned over 20 cars in my life but working with Gabriel and Continental were 2 of the easiest deals I've ever made. More

Honestly, this department is probably the best part of buying my Mazda as they do quality work and greet you with a smile on return visits. While Sales may not have the same cheeriness for seeing you as you already own a Mazda you bought from them, Service makes me feel like a honest-to-God valued customer. More

First Mazda - Great Experience. NO pressure We had two cars in mind when we began our car shopping 'adventure'. The first was not a Mazda and through a different local dealer. Our experience at the other non-Mazda dealer was terrible (we ran out of gas on the test ride among other issues). To reiterate, our poor experience was NOT at Continental. Anyways, setting the tone for the reader here - when we made it to Continental we had been through the ringer with our previous dealer visits. We were just about to call it a day and go home defeated until we saw the Mazda CX-5 in person. What a car. WOW. Our experience through the lot was calm and without pressure. We were able to browse without having a sales person jump in the minute we got out of our car. I liked the vibe that they gave as well with regard to customer service; all around normal people with a passion for Mazda. It was cool. We ended up talking to Dimitri Yannias, our sales rep, regarding the CX-5. In all honesty, the CX-5 was on the top of our list for what we wanted but the more expensive car on our list overall - still well within budget though. I had been sold in my mind on a different car from earlier in the day purely on price and came into the Mazda dealership not expecting much. We were definetly needing to be wowed in order to buy - well I was, my wife already knew she wanted to the CX-5 and that she had to convince me. The test drive went great - I'm a fan of the Naperville Test Track. One of the best things that Naperville ever did was partner with Car Dealers Row to build that track. Great place to really let loose on the car without NPD pulling you over and as a result, more people buy in Naperville leading to more sales tax revenue. SMART, very smart. Back to the test drive. Dimitri walked us through ALL of the features of the car while we were driving it around. Not a single dealership we went to before had done anything remotely as thorough as Dimitri. We both had a chance to drive it as much as we needed and were very pleased with everything. Great car, great service experience so far and just a complete 180 from what we had experienced at other dealerships earlier in the day. After the test drive we began to talk numbers, just briefly. Dimitri knew that we were stuck on a few cars and that we needed a minute to calibrate. While my wife and I figured our price and interests, they ran our Rogue through an appraisal that was very close to a written offer we received at CarMax. Another tick in the right direction for Continental. Once we had our numbers in order and all of the information needed to review, we left for lunch to talk it over. Dimitri was very comfortable with us taking a step away from the dealership. Likely because he knew we were very interested in the car and that his sales presentation was a home run (it was). We hammered out our decision over lunch and came back to Continental to get the ball rolling Our exact color car was not in yet - it had been shipped and was on its way to the dealership when we were on site. So we had to wait a few days for the Soul Red CX-5 to come in - no harm, no foul. We put a holding deposit on the car and off we went waiting for the call that the car had been delivered. A quick note to buyers looking for a Soul Red CX-5 - put the holding deposit on the car if you know that is what you want. We were very glad that we did - it's apparently a high demand color and car as we found through our research. About a week later the car had made it to the dealership. Dimitri brought us in for a walk around and introduced/taught us how to pair our phones to the car, how to adjust settings - all around how to make the car personalized to what we needed to drive away. We sat down with Kelly in Finance and signed the contract for purchase and we were out the door. It was a very good experience AND quick. No problems with pricing, no problems with the trade in value and no problems with interest rates. Speaking of interest rate, Continental completely destroyed a pre-aproved rate that I had through another bank. Their 0.9% financing is awesome. We had a fantastic experience all around. So much so that I'm eyeing a Mazda 3 for me... Stay tuned for that. Thank you, Continental and THANK You Dimitri for all that you did. You turned me around from a no to a yes and I'm very glad you did. It's the right car for my family. More

It was the most stress free, xx free car buying experience we have EVER had. A huge shout out to Mike Willock. After meeting Mike for our first test drive, we specifically asked for him when ready to buy a few days later. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, made sure we experienced a multitude of driving scenarios on our test drive, and really took his time to show and explain all the goodies that come with the tech package. A thank you goes out to Kelly Messick as well. He made the financing portion of our new purchase, quick, easy and especially hassle free. Best new car buying experience ever. Over the years, we've purchased many vehicles, both new and used, from a variety of dealers. But I can honestly say that this was the best car buying experience we've ever had. It started with a warm greeting from Jeremy Storino and Gabe Jimenez when we walked through the door. Gabe went over all of the features of the Mazda CX-5 and demonstrated everything before taking us out on a test drive. The test drive consisted of more than just a one-mile drive with four right turns. We were able to test the acceleration, cornering and braking ability, U-turns and overall driving experience on the road, as well as their own test drive course behind their dealership. During and after the test drive, Gabe answered all of our questions in a very professional manner. He never came across as pushy or overbearing and he never talked down about the competition' which really appealed to my wife. He let the CX-5 sell itself and wanted to make sure it was the right fit for us. We left the dealership that night with a very positive feeling about the vehicle, the price, the sales experience and especially, Gabe. After test driving a different make the following day, we came back to inform Gabe that we wanted to buy. We added a couple options, so we made arrangements to pick up the CX-5 in a few days. It was ready as promised and Gabe made sure that he went over all of the features again, including linking up my phone to the Bluetooth before we left. He gave us his cell # in case we had any other questions. He's since followed up with me to make sure everything is okay and whether I had any questions. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience and I expect dealing with the service department in the future will be just as smooth. More

Got the salesman hand off/ run around, got talked down to, was made to feel like we were doing the salesman dirty by not purchasing same day after he related his family situation to us... a lot of pressure to buy, numbers they couldn't put in writing without us pushing across a credit card to show the sales manager that we were really intent on purchasing, other such nonsense. They're close to home though, which is why I imagine a lot of people end up purchasing from them. Continental Mazda gave us a experience almost exactly the opposite of Schaumburg Mazda. No pressure. No unnecessary complications. We were very satisfied with the price of the vehicle we purchased. Our salesman Gabriel was always very professional with us and however it is that they didn't have the vehicle optioned as we'd decided we wanted, he drove down to BFE Illinois an picked it up, had it ready and waiting for us when we were ready to go in and settle up. Redundant, but as I stated before, I wish all new car purchases were like the experience we had last week with Gabriel and the guys at Continental Mazda. Great place to do business! More
