Edward W. Napleton opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise. When that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. (Ed) Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 79 franchises in eight states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Absolutely the worst service imaginable....not only do they not answer the phones or call you back they also argue with you! Terrible service! Worst customer service ever. I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that I have brought in for repair for the same problem 5X and it still isn't fixed. I love my car but now I am having issues with warning lights. The service department is extremely slow, dropped my car off 3 days ago and they still have not looked at it. Also they did not give me a loa lights. The service department is extremely slow, dropped my car off 3 days ago and they still have not looked at it. Also they did not give me a loaner but weirdly gave a loaner to another customer. I have called daily and no one has returned my messages as well as at least telling me what day they will decide to take a look at my car that I have had for a month. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU CAN. The Chevy dealer down the street will have your car fixed in one day great service department! More

Worst dealership I ever have dealt with. They suckered me into buying a scratch and dent warranty because there are three dents on my car. DO NOT GO. I would rather give 0 stars if I could! The pricing is deceptive and so are the salespeople. They require a $2,000 fee for accessories that most dealers provide as optional add-ons. (So if you happen to find a car you like online, add $2,000 to that price and then reconsider). I discussed final pricing with them over the phone on multiple occasions for a couple of their used cars. And each time I came in to finalize, they presented ridiculous numbers that were far from what was discussed. It was blatant lies time and time again and they didn't even bother hiding it. I ended up buying the exact same car they tried to sell me at a different dealer, but for a REASONABLE price AND less mileage AND same warranty! I'm so so SO glad I didn't go through with their xx and I strongly advise avoiding that awful place. More
