Beware: Don't Bring Your Car Here For Repairs Last week I got a 3rd alternator put in my vehicle since last Sept/Aug 2015. I have literally brought my vehicle into this service dealership every mo Last week I got a 3rd alternator put in my vehicle since last Sept/Aug 2015. I have literally brought my vehicle into this service dealership every month since January with new problems. The assistant managers makes excuses for everything and accepts no responsibility or accountability for poor mechanical repairs done by his technicians. I picked up my car on Wednesday and my AC wasn't working but was working fine when I dropped it off. My car was making a noise brought it back in and was told it broke down. This was puzzling as it was just there for 3 days and NO ONE discovered this when tests were done given that other issues were discovered but not this one. The assistant manager then proceeded to tell me that it probably broke while there but not at hands of mechanic. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They say to bring your car to the dealership to ensure quality parts and mechanic work but clearly in my experience that is not the case. So if you have a honda that needs repairs, do not bring it to Castle Honda service department, goto another honda dealership as you might face recurring "coincident" issues that need repairs as I've been constantly told every month since January 2016. Don't except any helpfu solutions from the assistant manager as he accepts no accountability and is there to just take your money. More

New Service Customer I had to take my car to a dealer because of a seat belt part. I originally took it to O'Hare Honda, now AutoNation; worst experience ever; so bad, that it took me over a year to try again. I decided to try Castle Honda. The experience with my Castle Service Advisor, Rob Kolodny, was beyond my expectations and so pleasant, that I decided to take my car back a couple of months later to see if the service was consistent; I wanted to make sure the car was winter ready. I just had my car serviced for the 3rd time at Castle; needed an oil change. Each experience has been as wonderful as the last, and now Castle Honda is my new service center primarily because of my Service Advisor, Rob Kolodny. When I make my online appointments, I always choose Rob. The rest of the guys are probably equally excellent, but I'm not adventurous. More

Got my honda in 2007 and had my first oil changes for free the 4th one cost me $60. Way overpriced and never went back for their oil change. Went for an appointment to make sure everything was fine with my car because it was very loud and the engine did not sound good. All they did was start the car and listen to the engine. The problem was not resolved. Now my car is back at Castle Honda Car Service for the same problem and finally they said that the noise in the cars engine is not right and its about time they take a look at it. Walking in the Service Center no one is interested in assisting you and the person who was working with me was rude and had no customer service experience. Anything I would say was answered with rudeness and rolled eyes. Its about time they get some customer service skills in there. More
My 2006 Accord was hesitating on acceleration especially when cold. Vince from Service Department has provided me with a rental car free of charge so they could diagnose the problem first thing in the morni when cold. The car was there for two days because no code was showing at the diagnostics. With the help of Honda Head Office they have determine that it could be caused by three things, first being the least expensive of using premium gas from Shell to clean the fuel jets. This proved to be the culprit. Thank you Castle Honda Service Department for the good advice and providing me with a free car for a couple of days. Ted Slugocki More
Brought my 2005 Odyssey in for recall regarding braking system seal kit. Engine light also on due to B-1 catalytic convertor. Repairs made and inspection revealed worn rear brake pads needed to be replaced system seal kit. Engine light also on due to B-1 catalytic convertor. A bunch of scammers here! Do not purchase your car at Castle Honda and especially do not take your car for any service issues here as well. I took my Honda Civic Hybrid in for an Oil Change. Note it had been working perfectly. Simple easy etc. you would think. When I left, my hybrid battery went to no charge, and the mileage that normally av it had been working perfectly. Simple easy etc. you would think. When I left, my hybrid battery went to no charge, and the mileage that normally averages 37 Mpg went to average 25 mpg. The car had worked perfectly prior. 10 miles later I took the car back and they said that was the way it was suppose to work. They floored the gas until the battery charged up and stated it's all good, it's just humid today. We argued for an hour and they refused to look at my car. Note: I have the full extended warranty on the car as well. I called several times, asked for managers and am basically told they are not going to look at my care because an Oil Change could not have caused the problem. The managers hang up on me, and told me the car was working as it should. Last summer we averaged 37 MPG, this summer we are averaging 25MPG. The battery is doing things I have never seen before. I am now forced to take the car to Ohare Honda and pay for diagnostic and who knows what else for whatever Castle Honda did to my car. Note: it was a simple oil change!!! More
