Castle Honda is in an somewhat cheap looking building, but they do sell cars at decent prices. From my experience, I think their niche is selling late model used cars quickly at very low prices. The dea but they do sell cars at decent prices. From my experience, I think their niche is selling late model used cars quickly at very low prices. The deal is, though, that they can sell them cheap only for a short time because they don't pay off the loans against the trade-ins right away, which saves them lotsa bucks. Nice experience and respectful handling. More

A bunch of scammers here! Do not purchase your car at Castle Honda and especially do not take your car for any service issues here as well. They do not respect customers and do not care when an issue Castle Honda and especially do not take your car for any service issues here as well. They do not respect customers and do not care when an issue occurs. They are rude, impatient and straight out mean! These people who work here disgust me especially Freddy, Rafeal and The service manager who's name i believe is Tom! Never again, I have just filed a complaint with the BBB. More
I purchased a new car from Castle Honda. The initial I purchased a new car from Castle Honda. The initial transaction was good. What I want people to know here is what happens after the purchase. I purchased a new car from Castle Honda. The initial transaction was good. What I want people to know here is what happens after the purchase. I was given a temporary tag for 10 days and was told I would receive my paper work within that 10 days so I could title the car. After 10 days, no paper work. When I contacted the dealership, all the way up to the general manager, nothing was done. I was told several times that someone would get back to me with no follow through. I have now had to drive my car for a week on expired tags. I have purchased several new vehicles, and have never had such poor customer service. There are several dealers out there to by cars from, Honda and others. I would not recommend buying a car from Castle Honda. More
I took my Honda Civic Hybrid in for an Oil Change. Note it had been working perfectly. Simple easy etc. you would think. When I left, my hybrid battery went to no charge, and the mileage that normally av it had been working perfectly. Simple easy etc. you would think. When I left, my hybrid battery went to no charge, and the mileage that normally averages 37 Mpg went to average 25 mpg. The car had worked perfectly prior. 10 miles later I took the car back and they said that was the way it was suppose to work. They floored the gas until the battery charged up and stated it's all good, it's just humid today. We argued for an hour and they refused to look at my car. Note: I have the full extended warranty on the car as well. I called several times, asked for managers and am basically told they are not going to look at my care because an Oil Change could not have caused the problem. The managers hang up on me, and told me the car was working as it should. Last summer we averaged 37 MPG, this summer we are averaging 25MPG. The battery is doing things I have never seen before. I am now forced to take the car to Ohare Honda and pay for diagnostic and who knows what else for whatever Castle Honda did to my car. Note: it was a simple oil change!!! More
I have been taking my car to Schaumburg Honda for the past 4 years. In the middle of a Chicago winter my heater motor died! Castle Honda was the nearest dealer to where I work. I will never take my car past 4 years. In the middle of a Chicago winter my heater motor died! Castle Honda was the nearest dealer to where I work. I will never take my car to them again. The part that had to be replaced was the blower motor (i had NO heat inside the car!). The Honda retail price of the part was $233.88. I confirmed this price by pulling up the part online, and confirmed with 2 different Honda dealerships in the area that this is the price of the part. Castle Honda charged me over $320 for a part that is AT MOST supposed to me $233.88. When I questioned why the part was so expensive the service manager just said that is how it is priced. I then told him I could purchase the same part from Schaumburg Honda for the normal price, he said he would not be able to lower the price. I asked if I could purchase the part from the other dealer and bring it (in sealed Honda package) in for them to install. He said no because they cannot guarantee the work if the part does not come from them. I could have chosen to not pay the inflated price, and take it to the other dealer, however to diagnose the problem cost me $115, which was then to be applied to the repairs. I was left with such a negative feeling with this service department. I honestly felt like I was had. I have been paying dealer rates for service for years and understand the inflated cost. They gouged me with the price of this part though. I was in a bad spot and they took their opportunity to make some more money off me. The part finally arrived, but they ended up not being thorough and had to order another part (transistor), which surprise was about $30 more expensive than the other DEALERS in my area. After much complaining 10% was taken off of my repair bill (covered Tax). I found this to be much too little, too late. I had to do A LOT of complaining (hey, im even writing a review online about it, so you know I was ticked off). In the end I don’t want a favor of 10% off. Castle Honda ripped me off on the price of their part. Principle is worth more than 10%. I asked the service department if there was anything they could do for me to get the price of that part down to the normal Honda price. I was then told that since I had no history of service with them there was nothing they could do for me. Thanks Castle Honda, you failed to gain a new customer. :) I felt that the service rep I dealt with was dancing around every option I offered to avoid paying their inflated price. Had a very take it or leave it attitude. Save yourself the frustration. Do not take your car for service here. Go to Schaumburg Honda (or ANY other dealership!) More
Dealer is close to where I live so I tried to get them match the lowest quote I got. They matched it. The transaction is very smooth. no additioanl funny fees at all. Mike in the internet department helpe match the lowest quote I got. They matched it. The transaction is very smooth. no additioanl funny fees at all. Mike in the internet department helped me. He is not extemely friendly as some dealers are but I got the car with the price I was quoted. To me that is the most important thing. I do need to wait there quite long because the car I need is not in their lot. they need to get it from somewhere else. More

I don't know why I come back to this dealership thinking that I might get decent customer service. I step into the showroom and stand for at least 15 minutes before anyone asks if I need help ("did you want that I might get decent customer service. I step into the showroom and stand for at least 15 minutes before anyone asks if I need help ("did you want to buy a car?"). Then they try and settle on a price before even explaining or letting me test drive the vehicle. The only reason I think I end up stopping by is because I live close to this dealership. The one time I had a decent experience is in 1997 when I purchased my first car from the used car department. Since then it has been consistent disappointments time after time. More
I applied online for credit at Castle Honda for a 2008 Honda Fit. The next day I was approved for 1.9% financing which I thought was great. My wife and I went to the dealer the next day. Test drove the Honda Fit. The next day I was approved for 1.9% financing which I thought was great. My wife and I went to the dealer the next day. Test drove the Fit and loved it. Then Mike sent us to the some guy in an office who had all the paper work ready for us to sign until I saw that the finance charge was going to be 6%. I told the guy we were approved for 1.9%. He said that the 1.9% was for Civics and SUVs and not the Fit. My wife and I walked out of there telling the loan guy that "You guys at Castle Honda are CROOKS!" This is a perfect example of "Bait and Switch" if I ever saw one. More
