After going through xxxx at another Chevrolet dealership and constantly being lied I started the process of buying a new SUV around January 7, 2015. After going through xxxx at another Chevrolet dealership and constantly being lied to over the phone by sales reps at 2 other dealerships, a family member referred me to Ivory Chevrolet. I visited Ivory Chevrolet where I had a heart to heart conversation with Tim Allen regarding my experience. He could tell that I was almost done and about to leave the market altogether. Tim promised me that he will make me happy and find the exact vehicle that I was looking for if I stick with him. Tim kept his promise and on top of that he surprised me and had the vehicle ready for me sooner than he lead me to believe it would be ready. On January 22, 2015, I drove my new SUV home. I love, love, love my new SUV! Thank you Tim Allen for your outstanding customer service and putting a happy end to a horrible experience. You Rock! More

Ivory is not BBB accredited and has an "F" rating I can understand why Ivory Chevrolet is not BBB accredited and has an "F" rating. I will never refer anyone to them and never consider them in any other purchases. I bought a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado (11K Miles) from Tim Allen at Ivory Chevrolet on July 25th. I secured financing with the Credit Union and was ready to buy this truck. Since I was driving 125 miles away, I asked him to personally walk around the truck to make sure there are no issues and to take it on a test drive before I made the trip. He called me back and told me it was just like a new truck and it drove great. I told him that I really liked everything about the truck and that I will make the trip. In that conversation, he asked if he could do the financing. I was hesitant about it and told him that I was concerned about having a dealership "shot gun" my credit. He reassured me that they do not do that as that is a dirty way to put too many inquiries on your credit and that forces the buyer to purchase from that dealer. He made me feel comfortable so I agreed and later that afternoon, the next day I got about 15 credit inquiries from Ivory and banks that they do business with. When I go to the dealership Friday evening, 125 miles later, I walk up to the truck and see a good sized dent where someone backed in to something. The rear bumper was damaged, the tailgate was not able to be opened and the right rear quarter panel was pushed in. Tim states that he did not know that was there that he must have over looked it. He also told me about another place there the front fender was repaired. He never told me about the issues so that tells me that he told me what I wanted to hear before I made the trip. This is the person that told me it was just like one of his new trucks. His tone changed and stated that it is a used vehicle. I asked him why he didn't have that attitude before I made the trip. I don’t know of any dealership that will sell a vehicle that needs body work without having the work done before it gets put on the lot. I expect this of a buy here, pay here car lot that have older cars. Tim assured me that he would take care of the rear quarter panel and make sure the tail gate open properly. He refused to repair the bumper that I would have to pay to repair the rest including the bumper. He adjusted my interest rate just to try to satisfy me but that does not fix the repair and how it was repaired. The repairs have been done to the quarter panel now and it is "fixed" but not properly. Every time I look at the rear of the truck, I see the original damage with touch up paint to the body. I still see the bumper pushed in a little. It is not straight like the other side. The truck was sold with one set of keys. So he mentioned that he would give me "his" discount (10%) to get any parts from the service department. I requested him to get a price for me for the bumper, key fob, and a key. I compared the price that he gave me to GM's suggested retail price. They were the same amount so no discount as promised even after confronting him about it. When I confronted him about the prices, he called me back and was not able to discount like he said. He stated that if there was anything he could do to make things right with me that he would see what he can do. I asked him to honor the request and to see if the dealer would work in the labor to have the keys made, programmed and to have the key fob programmed. He called me back to say that he couldn't. I told him that Ivory is doing nothing to fix anything on this. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't think he or Ivory Chevrolet could make me happy and that it would not have hurt his feeling to back out of the deal the day I came in when I wanted to back out. (On that day, he wanted to sell a truck.) He also was quick to tell me that he didn't make anything off the deal and that he could take it or leave it. I also did not appreciate Tim having a personal argument with his significant other about why he is coming home late. He took a call in front of me while trying to discuss the issue regarding the truck. He should have excused himself from the conversation to handle his personal affairs. More
Misrepresented I was contacted by an associate at Ivory Chevrolet stating there was a recall on my 2010 Chevy Cobalt and I needed to come in as soon as possible beca I was contacted by an associate at Ivory Chevrolet stating there was a recall on my 2010 Chevy Cobalt and I needed to come in as soon as possible because your car is unsafe, we are going to put you in a 2014 Chevy Cruze your payment will stay the same I stated and no money down because I have none to put down and they stated no money down. We just need to do an appraisal on your car. I get to the dealership I was greeted by a Chante and she sat me down with a sales associate Andrea which she was very pleasant I test drove the car which I fell in love with only to end up being very disappointed. I was told I needed another $1000 or a co-signer. My impression from the phone call they were doing a trade because my car was not safe. I wouldn't of been even looking for another car if Ivory Chevrolet did not call me. I still feel some kind of way about this because I was mislead. More
