Wish there was another dealer close by Had an appointment this morning for a recall issue, got there about 5 minutes ahead of appointment and was taken right in. Besides recall I ask about oil change and rotation of tires. Service advisor stated the oil change and rotation of tires could all be done at the same time as the recall issue was being done it would be about an hour. I was also offered a complementary outside car wash. After sitting there for approximately 45 minutes the service advisor came to me and stated that my rear brakes were at 6 which is acceptable but the front needed to be replaced as they were at a 3. I thanked him but stated I wasn’t there for brakes and would make another appointment. He stated ok and assured me it would only be another few minutes and everything would be done. Another hour passed and while still waiting I get a phone call asking me if I would like an appraisal and talk about purchasing or leasing a new car. After 2 1/2 hrs I get my car back from a job that was to be 1 hr. More

My one experience with Myrtle Beach Kia I was on the way to Myrtle beach from Columbia going to my nephews first birthday party. My 2011 optima’s motor blew due to recall issues. I had it to I was on the way to Myrtle beach from Columbia going to my nephews first birthday party. My 2011 optima’s motor blew due to recall issues. I had it towed to Myrtle beach Kia. It was a Sunday when when this happened and Monday was Labor Day. Matt from there service department called me first thing on Tuesday asking if they could be the ones to fix my car. A day later the new motor was approved. He also asked if I was having trouble getting around. They paid for my rental and fixed my car pronto. Two days later he called me saying my car was ready to rock sporting a new motor, they even cleaned my car. Mad props to Matt and Myrtle beach Kia More

Jim, I am r This is a letter that I wrote to the Service Manager at Kia Myrtle Beach. I thought I would share it to help save people the trouble. Jim, I am reaching out to with regards to some issues I had with your Service Department. Last Thursday, July 5th, I brought my vehicle in for the 60K mile inspection and paid $471 for it. I was told that everything was in good shape except for my rear tires which I am aware of. I drive for Uber part time and today, July 9, I brought it for inspection to Meineke, Uber’s accredited company. After thoroughly looking at my vehicle, I was told by their technician that my front brakes measured at 2 mm but your Kia service personnel measured it at 6mm. Also, per your personnel, the front tire treads are at 5 but was told otherwise that it was at 2. Needless to say, I did not pass Uber inspection. I purposely brought my car in to your establishment so that everything would be in order when I went for my Uber inspection. Because I did not pass, I'm beginning to reassess the ability, reliability and truthfulness of your service department to actually do the job. It seems that Meineke does a better job at doing inspections. After all, Uber trusts them. How can the assessments be so far off? I have been taking my car to your establishment since I moved to MB 3 years ago but in this instance, I feel like I wasted my time and money. I would appreciate some feedback soonest. H. Hinkle More

Saw all the good reviews & figured this is where I needed to go. First service didn’t start off good from Giving check in tech my name, having him ask me to repeat it & then ask me to spell it. My FIRST name! And it’s Marie. My last name is just as common, but baffled this person. I don’t have a speech impediment. It got worse when I asked about protective film covering. Front end is pretty flat & I noticed at just a few thousand miles, road debris was starting to sandblast. You thought I was speaking a language from another planet. Guy tells me about the hood bug shield. He has NO IDEA what I was even talking about. Interestingly, the protective film is now an option on 2019. Go figure. Today, worse. I guess I forgot to specify that I wanted a wash with clean water & a clean rag to dry it. My car was dirtier inside & out when I got it back. Inside leather door handle & center consel are a light tan. They were a new shade of grime & dirt. Outside looked like a mud and oil god got together and decided to vomit on it. I didn’t say a word to these jokers because why? I’ll never go back. I don’t care how many snacks & baby bottles of water they have in waiting area. I want someone who knows about & appreciates cars. If they can’t even do basic stuff, worries me what they did or didn’t do mechanically. I rechecked EVERYTHING when I got home. That’s all I need to blow the oil filter because some looser has no clue. I take it to dealer bc of warranty. Sure if they serviced it & something goes wrong it covered, but I really want the jokers who jacked it up in the first place doing warranty repair work?!?! No thank you MB Kia. U can keep your free snacks. I’ll take my car to someplace that cares more about cars then snacks. My other car is an Infinity and somehow they are able to manage both. Ghee, what a concept. More

He was very helpful but, even though we saw and looked at several, nothing clicked. Yesterday I took my Kia Sportage in to have an oil change and a general check..We had been looking for a new Kia but, just could not find the right fit. While we waited Wesley talked to us and showed us a pretty Caribbean Blue Soul Plus..I think it was Love at first sight..Today April 24th we picked up our Blue Treasure and are very ,very happy with the results..Even though I will forever miss my Sportage I think she will forgive me for leaving her there..Thanks Tyler and Wesley and Zach for all you guys did for us . We think all of you at MB Kia are amazing.. We will let everyone know where we shop and how great the experience is.. More
