I took my 98 corvette into the service department. I asked for a simple oil change and to mount a new set of wheels that I purchased aftermarket. I was told they could do this. When I picked up my car it was filthy dirty and the new wheels were full of smudged grease. I got home and cleaned my car. At this time I noticed fresh damage on the left side rocker panel where the lift had been placed underneath. It was a 1 inch gash that was into the fiberglass. I was told to bring the car back up to the dealership for them to look at it. I was met by the service manager a Mr. McKnight. I took a picture of the damage which you could see it was fresh due to the blistering white fiberglass. Mr. McKnight took my car and drove it back to the service bay which was out of my sight. 10 minutes later I was told to come back to the service bay where my car was. My car was on a lift. At this time Mr. McKnight said that the 1 inch gash looked like old damage. I noticed that now the gash was filled with grease that wasn't there before they took my car back. I confronted Mr. McKnight about this. He just raised his arms up and said "My guys didn't do it" and he walked away. He was very rude and arrogant. I also had said that my car shakes now after they mounted the wheels and I was told you will never be able to balance the wheels because they are aftermarket. I even spoke with the owner of the dealership Louie Rodriguez whom was very arrogant and rude. Mr. Rodriguez denied having damaged my car and told me that my car was just old. He did not offer any apologies or any attempt to make it right. He had a I don't care attitude and very rude. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY LIE AND WILL COVER UP THEIR MISTAKES!! My vette was a showroom condition car that I took great pride in. More
I bought my Cadillac in Conway before he sold the dealership to Myrtle Beach Chevrolet. My car began to leave a spot of transmission fluid where it was parked and the rear door would occasionally ope dealership to Myrtle Beach Chevrolet. My car began to leave a spot of transmission fluid where it was parked and the rear door would occasionally open from the outside. I took my car in to Myrtle Beach Chevrolet and talked to Rose telling her about the leak and door problem. Rose called me back within a short time saying that some filters were clogged and that it would cost $1600 to get everything straight. When I went in to pick up my car, the actual charges for what I took it in for was $600. They had slammed me with $1000 of unnecessary and unasked for charges. DO NOT GO TO THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL PAD THE BILL! More

I have had several bad issues with MB Chevrolet, as well as with McElveen Chevrolet in Charleston, but this most recent time was the final straw, and it led me to submit a legal grievance with the BBB. MB C as with McElveen Chevrolet in Charleston, but this most recent time was the final straw, and it led me to submit a legal grievance with the BBB. MB Chevrolet used dishonest sales practices to attempt to convince me I needed 2000$ in repairs. After many previous issues and disappointments with MB Chevrolet (and McElveen Chevy in Charleston), I was under the impression that I still had a warranty and so I wanted to have my car serviced there as I thought it would save me money. The front office manager Rose, as she always is, was rude and curt. She informed me that she would call me when my car was ready and she did not. I had to call her three times; each time I was rudely told that the car had not been looked at. When I finally called, before closing, I was told that it would cost 2000$ to repair my car. Having had problems with MB Chevy, I knew this was a scam. She also told me that, if I drove my car, I would be endangering myself and others and so it was better to leave my car and let them do the repairs. I took my car elsewhere. At this mechanic, he walked me through the prices and the services -- my bill there came to 230$. MB Chevy told me my AC Compressor was ruined -- this mechanic debunked this and told me that my AC Compressor did not need replacing. He laughed at me when I told him MB Chevy's quote and said, "Yeah, they're trying to scam you." This is not the first time I have experienced this ridiculous price gouging with MB Chevy and I have made several complaints, which have gone unanswered. More

Beware......this is a horrible dealership! I was Beware......this is a horrible dealership! I was traveling alone with my young daughter and had problems with my vehicle, went to this dealership for Beware......this is a horrible dealership! I was traveling alone with my young daughter and had problems with my vehicle, went to this dealership for help with a problem that GM would cover, service manager was rude, uncaring person as was the serivice writer. I had been talking with a GM representative because of a known documented problem with my vehicle. GM would pay for the problem but, this dealership refused to work with GM, Service manager refused to speak with the GM representative telling me I was not his customer so therefore he would do nothing to help us unless we had $1100.00 to fix the vehicle. They also tried to sell me other parts that I know my vehicle didn't need.....like brakes and rotors. This dealership could careless about the customer and is only out to make a buck and sell you as many partsas they can even if you don't neeed them. I will try to drive my vehicle back to NY where it will be repaired by a chevy dealership at no cost to me because GM will take care of it there. The sevice managers parting words to me were "he hopes I don't break down on a weekend". What a seriously sick person! I can't beleive GM would allow this dealership to represent them.
